Liked Facilities were the best we have seen, absolutely spotless. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely location by the river. Pitches were large and really well looked after. Great play park for our daughter.

Liked The toilets were absolutely amazing ! And the lady who walks the grounds and does the flowers is amazing too. Kids loved playing in the stream thankyou ! Pub at the top done amazing food too

Disliked That there wasn’t a feild for the kids to play in play football or ride bikes ( although they were happy for the kids to ride along the campsite road and they loved going over the speed bumps )

Just to clarify regarding the space for children, we do have a dedicated play area, the river/stream where children can paddle and explore, as well as a large meadow for enjoying the outdoors. We do, however, prohibit ball games in the park, as this is one of our park rules. These rules are provided to guests prior to their visit, are available on our website, and we also explain them on arrival. This is to ensure everyone staying with us can enjoy a peaceful and safe environment.

We’re pleased the children enjoyed riding along the campsite road and tackling the speed bumps! 😄 And it sounds like you also made the most of the pub at the main entrance.

Liked Fantastic site beautifully kept and in a great location. Welshpool and Machynlleth close by also on back end of the mac loop so some low flying jets about.I will deffo be returning to this site.

We’re sorry that you experienced a little road noise during your stay. We just wanted to mention that this was a one-off and not typical of the site. On this occasion, we needed to get some materials out of our compound in order to complete some essential work, which unfortunately created a little additional noise. We did come and speak to you before this occured as curtiosy .

Liked Well kept site. Lovely clean toilets and showers. Handy having the hotel for a drink not far. Lots of birds to watch in the trees.

Disliked No tv or wi-fi signal . Managed as weather was good.

However, We do not advertise Wi-Fi as a facility at the park, our aim is to provide a peaceful setting where guests can enjoy the surroundings and the many beautiful door to door walks that surround this beautiful countryside.
We appreciate that connectivity is important to some guests, but we would always encourage visitors to research the facilities and location of any park before booking, to ensure it meets their individual requirements.

Liked Site was spotless throughout. Bathrooms were the best I've seen on a campsite. Several toilets and (hot) showers, separate for men and women.
Loads of space on the pitch itself, with both water and hook up.

Disliked Not much in the local area, but obviously this isn't an issue with the campsite itself, which I honestly couldn't fault.

Regarding the local area, we completely understand that finding attractions can sometimes be tricky if you're visiting somewhere new. It's always wise to have a quick Google of the area before travelling, as there is actually an abundance to see and do around Riverbend. Our washrooms also have plenty of tourist information, leaflets and local guides to help guests discover what's nearby.
Some of the many attractions include Lake Vyrnwy, Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall, Powis Castle, the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway, the Sculpture Park at Llanwyddyn, beautiful walks, cycling routes, charming market towns, local pubs, cafés, and plenty of opportunities for wildlife spotting and exploring the stunning Mid Wales countryside.

Liked Amazing location, very peaceful and well kept. Facilities were immaculate, cleaned several times daily. Lyndsey and Angie very warm and welcoming. Massive sized pitches, perfectly finished with picnic tables and water hookup.

Couldn’t ask for better would definitely recommend and will be returning
