What customers say
This is an immaculately kept, family-run campsite with exceptionally friendly and helpful owners. Visitors consistently praise the spotless, modern facilities, particularly the showers, and the stunning countryside views. The site is ideal for families, with a great play area and football pitch keeping children entertained. While some mention traffic noise from the adjacent A-road as a minor drawback, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests expressing a strong desire to return.

Liked We had a wonderful stay at this campsite! The location is absolutely beautiful, with amazing views that made our stay feel special. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and there’s a great play area that kept the kids happy and entertained. Liked The cleanliness of site.
Spacious pitches.
Not overcrowded.
Park and field good for children.
Showers and toilets very clean and water pressure great in the showers.
Very welcoming owners.
Neighbours with cows and sheep’s.
Friendly seasonal pitch owners.
The fresh spring water directly from the sites own bore was delicious and even better than bottled spring water!
Half the park is on one side of a busy A road, not really an issue as the other side houses the statics, another toilet/shower block (showers are metered on this side), utility room, games room and hot tub to hire.
Disliked There could be more toilets/showers. In the ladies there were 2 toilets and 1 shower and a separate family shower/toilet. Think mens had 2 showers, 2 toilets and urinals. We timed our showers for late in the evening so we could get in without holding other people up.

From the manager: Thankyou for your kind comments. We are hoping to put 2 more showers in for next season. We are aware that during very busy times there are occasionally waiting times for the showers although as you say there are additional showers on the static park which the touring park customers are welcome to use.

Liked Site was peaceful and we had a level pitch. Spotless facilities with a separate family room for shower and toilet, which was lockable from the inside.
Disliked Slight recommendation a second dishwashing sink would be of an advantage. Otherwise great campsite

From the manager: Thankyou, unfortunately at present we do not have the space for a second washing up sink

Liked Everything about this site was fantastic. Owners friendly, helpful and extremely patient with children with sen problems. Facilities are spotless and modernised. Fantastic views from our tent. Beautiful walks nearby and a lovely pub a few minutes walk from the site. They went above and beyond for my daughter’s birthday! Allowing her to feed the lambs and chickens. It was that good we didn’t want to leave! Came back today, called up and now booked in for 2 weeks time.

Liked A lovely clean site, well maintained, clean washrooms. Owners really friendly. Options to check out later at no extra cost. In fact, owners came around and said there was no need to rush checking out.
Disliked The road running by which is very busy and The light that we pitched under. There was a local party that went on for two nights with music playing loudly until 3am. Not a common occurrence.
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Thankyou for your comments. Im sorry the light was an issue its such a shame you didnt tell us as we could have turned it off which we have done for other customers if their tents dont have the darkened roof.
The local party was a one off for someones 50th and we agree it was way too noisy and played too late. Thank goodness it was a one off!!
Would definitely recommend 👍

Liked Staying at Bank Farm was a pleasure and a perfect base to carry on and explore Wales. Water on site fresh from the bore hole tasted great. Plenty of space for the kids to play and even some cows in the field next to us. Facilities very clean and modern. Lovely hosts. Would definitely stay again.
Disliked Only down side being close to a busy road woke me up first morning but second night was fine didnt notice it and nice to hear the motorbikes on the rides out to Wales in the morning sipping a coffee. An outdoor pool would top it off 😄.
