Lovely location
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked The pitch location was perfect, overlooking the river and the countryside and was peaceful.
Disliked It’s the first time we’ve stayed on a grass pitch and it was muddy due to a lot of rain fall, I prefer a gravel/hard standing pitch. The shower/toilet block wasn’t sufficient enough. There was only one shower cubicle and and there was no where to get dry, no seat to sit on to get dry, your just stood in the puddle of water from the shower. Also, there was no where to wash the dishes, these are small things but would make a big difference to our comfort.

From the manager: Thanks for the constructive review, we're glad you liked the pitch location and the views, sorry about the rain, we've had a mixed start to the season weather wise. Apologies the shower wasn't as you'd want it also. We are actually about to open some new dish washing facilities, sorry they weren't ready for when you visited but they will be if ever you returned. All the best.
Excellent site with great owners and scenery
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Spent a lot of time here as a child the site is still just as wonderful as I remember 25 years ago the scenery is beautiful and the site is immaculate.
The site has been in the same family for over 50 years and sian and nick are a credit to all that parc farm stands for they have done a amazing job of maintaining the sites original charm.
The site is a five minute walk from Pen-y-Bont-Fawr village that has a pub, post office and children's park.
The facilities on site are very well kept.
There is a small children's park onsite. It is a site to get away from it all and relax in the countryside
Disliked Nothing

One of the best sites we've visited
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Very friendly owners, very clean facilities and very clean site in a beautiful and peaceful surrounding. Good size riverside pitches with views of the nearby mountains and local wildlife. A haven for many birds including heron and red kites. Great location for a short drive to the local lakes Llyn Tegid (Bala) and Lake Vyrnwy. We'll be back.

Excellent site with clean facilities, friendly staff and level pitches
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked My wife and I had a very enjoyable time at this site it’s one of the best places we have visited. Friendly owners and facilities are very clean, only 12 grass pitches for touring caravans and all with electric hook ups but all are level and backing up to the gently flowing river, if you’re a fisherman or fisherwoman it’s great just out of the door and you can settle down to a nice peaceful day of fishing ,assuming the children from the static caravan site are not running around uncontrollably making a lot of noise. But a very enjoyable site. We will be going back next year.
Disliked We would have preferred a hard pitch, and if the children from the static caravan park did not run around uncontrollably playing around the touring caravans it would be great.
That is the only dislike.
