From the manager: Hello, many thanks for your review. I just wanted to respond and say that we clean the toilets every day. We cleaned on Saturday and Sunday at 3-4 pm - a bit later than usual and apologies if you missed us. We also check them frequently. If we are ever out of toilet rolls or there are any issues, please let us know.
Happy you like the pizzas and site in general.

Been here before and going to be coming back again. Love it

Electric grass pitch

Liked Lots of space for the kids to run around, host very pleasant and the site is out of the way of main roads.
Facilities are modern and very clean and not too far away from the pitches.

Disliked Lots of flies due to the pond behind the pitches however that can't be helped.

A fantastic, clean and great placed site for a good price!

Electric grass pitch

Liked We loved our stay in mid-June, the campsite was peaceful and quiet with some nights with us being on our own. The facilities were very tidy and clean. Cleaning of the facilities was done every day.
We were allowed to select our own plot (though I can only assume this was due to it being very quiet) and we got a very nice plot.
Plenty to do in the area!
Right over the road is a lovely vineyard and next door an ice cream shop - both of which we highly recommend!
There are plenty of historic sites and monuments to visit not too far of a drive away.
Getting camp supplies is super easy as the co-op supermarket is a mere 10 minute drive away.
The local Chinese takeaway (Golden Fish) was a fantastic, very reasonably priced dinner and was very for collection very quickly!!
We really enjoyed our 7 night stay and would happily go again!

Disliked There was a lot of bugs and flies! Though I'm really not sure we can blame the campsite for nature taking its course! My advice would be to take plenty of citronella candles, bug spray and fly traps!

Lovely quiet campsite with clean facilities.

Local attractions

While pubs are certainly one place to put back a few local ales, those of you who are a bigger fan of a glass of red or white will want to pay a visit to Kerry Vale Vineyard (10 minutes’ walk) to sample their flavours. There’s a brewery in Montgomery (10 minutes’ drive) for another drinks-themed outing or perhaps a tour of the town's castle, independent shops, cafés or visitor centre. What’s the cocktail in Welshpool (20 minutes)? Well, it might be the heritage railway, modern art or the canal works. Meanwhile, at Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd (35 minutes), you’ll stumble upon a tasty mix of moorland walks, mountain biking trails and a stream through the valley, all owned by the National Trust. Like to hone in on some historic sites while you’re on your holidays too? Well, there’s Clun Castle (25 minutes) not too far away and a Bronze Age stone circle at Mitchell's Fold Stone Circle (15 minutes). More historic sites litter the way around the five and a half-mile hilly hike around the Stiperstones (25 minutes).
