What customers say
This is a peaceful and quiet campsite with beautiful views, praised for its friendly and helpful owners who go the extra mile, often including red kite feeding. Facilities are generally clean, though some find them a little dated. Amenities like a dog walking area and a hut with books and games are appreciated. While most visitors loved the tranquil location, some noted patchy Wi-Fi and isolation.

Great little site, well worth a visit.
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked What a wonderful little place this site is. It's quiet and has beautiful views across the valley. The facilities are basic but clean and easy to access. Each pitch has an electric hook up point and there were picnic tables and benches dotted around the site, if you chose to use them.
There was a designated BBQ area and a small play area for children.
The nearest town is only 4 miles away and there is no shop on site, so you need to bring everything with you. The owner of the site was really friendly and helpful too.
The icing on the cake was watching the Red Kites flying around the site. Quite spectacular.
We had such a lovely chilled time we stayed over for two nights.
Disliked Some of the hard pitches are on a slope, so you need to be able to level up your van if you don't want an uncomfortable night.
When we were there, 2 out of the 4 shower units were out of use. Could be they were being serviced .

Electric grass pitch
Liked very hospitable warm welcome, everything was good and possible, beautiful view from our spot, plenty of space
Disliked The campsite is a bit messy, not really maintained, but everything worked. It also has its charm... and our son had the time of his life in the playground and the space and the cats that walked around and the sheep. So it was definitely a success for us!
