Liked We really liked Garth View and would have liked to stay longer, the facilities and layout are well suited to the type of camping we enjoy. We don’t want a bar, a club a swimming pool or childrens’ playground- we liked the quiet space and open plan offering. We were not cheek by jowl as one often is, we were able to be polite friendly and at the same time sufficiently distant from our neighbours so as not to impact with one another. The sense of space was increased by the limited number of pitches; even when full I would imagine that sense would be maintained.
The site is situated alongside a main road and so access from the road is good and, because the site sits above the road, traffic noise was limited. I would like to see a slightly widened entry as, not wanting to ‘clip’ the kerb, I had to take a wide turn with the caravan.
PLUS, fabulous sunsets.

From the manager: Thank you so much for your thoughtful review — I’m really glad to hear that Garth View suited the style of camping you enjoy. It means a lot that you appreciated the quiet space, the open layout and the sense of privacy between pitches. Keeping the site small and spacious is something I’m very committed to, so it’s lovely to know that it made your stay more relaxing.
I’m also pleased the location worked well for you, with easy access from the main road and limited traffic noise thanks to the site sitting above it. Your feedback about the entrance is genuinely helpful — widening it slightly is something I need to look at, and your feedback reinforces that it would make access smoother for caravans.
And yes, the sunsets really are special here — I’m delighted you enjoyed them.
It was a pleasure having you both, and you’re very welcome back anytime.
Kind regards Giovanna

Liked Stunning sea view and amazing sunsets on both nights.
Toilet block and shower rooms were spotless.
Short walk to the village to a lovely pub that was dog friendly, pub is closed on a Monday night so a bit of a longer walk to Moody Meadows but still a nice stroll

Not sure how the other reviews are so good
Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked There are good view behind you as long as you can put up with main road and noise at the front.
Disliked Right on main road, entrance looks like a scrap yard. We pulled in and back out, stayed elsewhere.

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you chose not to stay with us. As mentioned in our listing, the campsite is located close to the A487 for easy access to the coast and surrounding areas. While everyone experiences locations differently, many of our guests comment that the site remains peaceful and that road noise is minimal once on the pitches.
We were also disappointed to read your comments regarding the entrance appearance, as we work hard to maintain a relaxed, family-run campsite with clean facilities, spacious pitches and beautiful sea views and sunsets, which are regularly highlighted in guest reviews.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and wish you all the best with your future travels.

Liked Great small site, friendly welcome. No club house etc which was what we wanted. Location perfect for New Quay, we took the coastal path there. Plus Abareon only short drive away too. Nice pub only 5min walk.
Large camping pitch. Clean site. Clean shower and toilet block. Large walk in shower! Bins provided and use of fridge freezer if needed. EHU on site.
Disliked There is the main road at end of site so some traffic news. But not a big issue. View of the sea and great site made up for it.

From the manager: Thank you so much for your lovely review, Debbie.
We’re really glad you enjoyed the friendly welcome and the quiet, simple feel of the site — it’s great to hear it was exactly what you were looking for without a clubhouse or extras.
It’s wonderful that the location worked so well for you, with the coastal path into New Quay and Aberaeron just a short drive away, and we’re pleased you found the pitch, facilities and shower block clean and comfortable.
Thank you as well for mentioning the pub and the fridge/freezer access — we’re glad those added to your stay.
We appreciate your note about the road at the end of the site; as you say, most guests find it’s not a big issue, and we’re happy the sea view and overall experience made up for it.

Campsite with sea views and stunning sunsets.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The host wanst there when we arrived but did come over to introduce herself to us which we thought was nice. The services, I.e. showers and toilets were very roomy and clean. The pitches were very spacious and the view outstanding. We visited Aberaeron taking the coastal path and cought the late bus back which dropped us off right outside the campsite entrance which we thought was good.
Disliked Not a dislike but WIFI would have been great. We understand that the campsite is still relatively new and improvements and updates are ongoing. Would definitely visit again.

From the manager: Thank you for your lovely review. I’m glad I was able to come over and meet you properly even though I was not onsite when you arrived, and it’s great to hear you found the showers, toilets and spacious pitches clean and comfortable. The view is always a highlight, and it’s nice to know you enjoyed the coastal walk into Aberaeron — catching the late bus back to be dropped right at the entrance is definitely a bonus.
WiFi is something we’re working towards as the site continues to grow, and we really appreciate your understanding. We’re delighted you’d visit again. King regards Giovanna

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Lovely to hear you enjoyed the clean site and those gorgeous sea views. The coastal walk into Aberaeron is a bit of a trek and can take up to an hour or more — it’s a scenic route with sea views, but also a little hilly and uneven in places. We’re glad you still had a good stay. We hope to see you again. Kind regards Giovanna
