Brilliant all round
Walled Garden non-electric grass tent pitch (small)
Liked I felt really safe, it was my first time solo camping, as well as my dog's! So I wasn't sure how it would go for either of us.
I needn't have worried, even with some very rainy weather we both had a brilliant time, my pitch was secluded away which I was very grateful for but close to the facilities so trips over didn't mean trekking past other campers. Facilities were spotless, staff were brilliant and clearly taking care of both campers and the gardens and the thought that the site has put into making it easy to set up and have a nice time was really clear.
Other campers were respectful of the quiet times and it all had a nice atmosphere.
We'll be back again for sure!! Thank you all for a lovely first time camping!
Disliked Nothing it was great, even pitched in very wet weather!

Disliked The disabled bay was very noisy however I appreciate where it was as it was the closest to all the facilities.

Liked Everything. Super clean, tidy, well organised site. Well equipped kitchen with fridge and freezer. Toilet/shower block spotless. Plentiful supply of logs for the firepits. Pleasant, friendly, helpful staff. Pitches are well proportioned and nicely spaced out. Lovely sheltered garden for all to use.

Highly recommend the camp site. Keen to return
Walled Garden non-electric grass tent pitch (small)
Liked I thought the facilities were outstanding. Showers, toilets, wi-fi, phone recharging, sinks, kettles, fridge etc. The surrounding woodland area was nice.
Disliked You should probably secure your dog with a dog lead stake or the camp manager will get rather dramatic and claim that you are frightening the children. No matter how cute & gentle your dog is

Loved it, beautiful site.
Walled Garden non-electric grass tent pitch (small)
Liked Love this site, it's absolutely massive but well planned so that there are small areas set far apart so it feels intimate. Fabulous facilities, kitchen area with fridge and freezer, kettle toaster, microwave. Undercover seating area. Walled garden area perfect for using these facilities, so nice to pop the kettle on without all the fuss of stoves. Even though you can't park your car next to your pitch, trolly's are provided to move your gear but the car park is super close to pitches anyway. Lovely to have a Fire on your pitch and you get a decent amount of logs that last all night for £10 which is a reasonable price. You can walk for around the site as its huge. I felt very safe. Loads of woods for kids to play. Midges were out in force so definitely take your repellent. Great for dogs. Walks from the site, although loads of tracks exist that are not marked on the map. Walk to Denholm is nice where you can go for food or pub but uphill on the way back. Staff were lovely and really helpful. Toilets and showers were clean and functional, I did like the underfloor heating. If you chose to camp in the woodland part it's a 15-20 min walk uphill but they will transport all your kit for you.
Disliked I thought it was quite expensive.
Can't understand why the woodland section is more expensive when you don't have easy access to all the facilities.
