Little Lodge camping pod (no pets)

Liked The Little Lodge was so modern and clean, beautiful views too. At night, the stars are just phenomenal too

Disliked Doesn't show from the pictures how close to the road it was, which was a little sad to find out on arrival because you can hear the traffic all night.

Ordie 3 bedroom lodge (pet friendly)

Liked Large cabin well laid out. 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms.
Well equipped kitchen. Easy to use heating system.
We saw red squirrels.
The cabin was lovely and clean and well presented. I feel it was great value for money.

Disliked Plenty parking but this is about 40 meters from the lodge so wasn’t ideal lugging all our stuff in, in the rain. The smaller of the sofas is a bit beaten so was uncomfortable. Some of the crockery and utensils needed to be washed before we could use them.
The HDMI port on the TV was unserviceable so we could not connect our device to the TV.
We feel that the 10am (as per signage) check out is early and this site states 10:30am.
The WiFi struggled to reach the cabin and disconnected repeatedly.

Local attractions

Be prepared to get down and dirty in the day, and leave the luxury for the evening, because Highland Perthshire’s lochs and the mighty River Tay have spawned several local outdoor activity centres for all sporting endeavours, from water rafting to canoeing and kayaking or slipping and sliding your way along the River Tay with The Canyoning Company (10 minutes). If you prefer to let the fishing line do the hard work, the River Tout has bounties of salmon and brown trout. Those unlucky in fishing but exacting in their aim may also want to follow in the footsteps of golfing legends at the Gleneagles course (40 minutes). Newbies wanting to practise their swing can tackle the more basic courses at Pitlochry (10 minutes), Blairgowrie Rosemount (30 minutes), or Dunkeld (10 minutes) golf courses. You can also tour Perthshire's lochs, woodlands, and plains by foot, beginning with hunting down the breeding ospreys at the Loch of the Lowes (10 minutes), before moving into the towering oaks and firs of Tay Forest Park (20 minutes).
