When you’re looking for somewhere rather special to lay your head, you can experience the ultimate in Scottish luxury at Dalnoid – and the ultimate in Scottish views too, as all accommodation has spectacular hill, forest and moorland views over Glenshee in the Cairngorms National Park. There’s nothing to disturb your peace at Dalnoid either, as it’s a kid-free zone, so you’re all set for a romantic Perthshire retreat for two. Set well apart from each other among Scots pine and silver birch trees, the stylish units are all designed to a high spec and have well-equipped kitchens, ensuite shower rooms, quality fittings and furnishings and lots of home comforts. Welcome extras include bed linen and towels, woodburners to keep things cosy and hot tubs where you can soak up more gorgeous vistas over the glens. Each abode is approached down an individual track, all lit up with fairy lights at night. If you are celebrating that special birthday or anniversary, the site owners can organise surprise welcome packages for you (at an extra cost), and should you want for anything during your stay, there’s an honesty shop selling all the essentials.
