This campsite receives widespread praise for its beautiful lakeside location, friendly and welcoming staff, and immaculately clean facilities including showers and toilets. Pitches are generally described as spacious, well-maintained, and well-positioned. Many visitors enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, the views of Lough Ree, and the presence of ducks. Disliked Showers had to take own chair to have somewhere to keep clothes dry. Also had to have second person outside shower to put money in for hot water. Not very practical.

Non-electric grass tent pitch (backpacker, no cars)
Liked Lovely spot and just 10 minutes from the shop to get anything that was forgotten! Lake is a beautiful view. The quiet times at night are respected for a good sleep. There’s a little games room with a pool table for extra fun and board games. Bathrooms and showers were lovley and clean as well. The hosts were very welcoming and generous lending us their extension lead Because ours wasnt working. The location is also not far from baysports for some water activities as well!
