Em va agradar: Pitch sizes are very good , if you're putting an awning up then you will need hard standing pegs . Shower and toilet block very clean. Quite site good location to take in the surrounding areas. Close to the beach . Friendly welcome

Would stay again but only on an outside pitch so no vehicles at rear.

Em va agradar: Location

No em va agradar: Even though the pitches were very large we had vehicles parked close ( 3m away) at the rear then other vehicles both sides and front so felt a little hemmed in, the road on the touring area was very narrow to navigate in a motorhome, tow bars and awning ropes sticking out. Toilet block not cleanest but didn’t have to use.

Em va agradar: Very clean and easy access , very friendly site and the new pub was dog friendly so i could not fault it , showers and toilets were immaculate. Within a short 5 minute drive we found the most lovely small beach, perfect for us with the dogs or if you have children.

No em va agradar: Sadly we could t make it due to car troubles phoned to see if we could rebook but because we booked through pitch up they wouldn’t allow us to and would t give a refund either

Em va agradar: The Pitch size was perfect. The Bar/Restaurant is really nice. The bunnys hopping round is quite nice.

No em va agradar: The electric and water post were on the opposite side to where our service outlets were had to buy an extension water hose. The toilets were not 100% clean. The Laundrette is at the entrance to the site so you will have to drive to it even though the touring toilet block says theres one there! The Cars and bikes speeding up and down the main road at front is really annoying but not sites fault

Start with a stroll along the woodland paths accessible straight from the site, then graduate to something a little more challenging: the Southern Upland Way starts a 20-minute drive away in Cockburnspath and the Berwickshire Coastal Path can be picked up at the nearby bay. In the land of 'the Scottish play’, it should come as no surprise that castles, historic buildings and ruins are in no short supply around here: explore the remains of Coldingham Priory 15 minutes’ walk away, or head to Preston Mill, Paxton House, Bamburgh Castle or Ford & Etal Estates, all within an hour of the site. Beer fans have come to the right place too – Belhaven Brewery, Scotland’s oldest working brewery, is half an hour’s drive away. Make the trip for tours of the 300 year old craft brewery, stories from the beers’ history and, of course, tastings in The Monks’ Retreat bar. If you’re seeking something a little more urban, Scotland’s capital is an hour away. Stroll along the Royal Mile from Holyrood to Edinburgh Castle, find Dean Village and Circus Lane in the New Town, play a round on Bruntsfield Links and climb Arthur’s Seat for views over the city. Edinburgh’s a paradise for foodies too, with everything from gastropubs to Michelin starred restaurants dotting the city.
