Coldingham Bay Leisure Park

Gostou Easy to find. Pitch was a great size. Toilet block was new and clean. Walk into the beautiful village was lovely. Lots of scenic walks around.
We will definitely be back!

Não gostou Luckily I had read a review mentioning the gate code if you're arriving after 5pm so I was able to call ahead and ask what it was. The woman provided it over the phone but said I should have had an email. There was definitely no email in my inbox or junk so this might be worth looking into for future contact with customers.

Modern toilets and kept clean

Não gostou Tell customers that there is a code on the gate.
I telephoned to ask what time reception shut and was told 6pm. We got stuck in traffic and realised that we would arrive after 6pm so called back. Was assured we could check in at the bar.
During both conversations we were not made aware that we needed a code.
Arrived and could not access the site so I had to walk up the bar to get the code.
There was actually a car behind us that couldn’t get passed but wouldn’t give us the code.
Also have to mention that we came down for food/ drinks on the Saturday afternoon but the bar was shut for a private function! Wish we would also have been made aware of this. So a trip into town instead.

Gostou Fully services pitches, ours was level as well, clean, modern and warm toilets and showers and all the facilities as necessary.

Large clubhouse serving a good variety of beers and both alcoholic and other beverages, basic but obviously popular food menu (looked good when it was brought out but we didn't personally try it) and a small amusement arcade for the kids. Very friendly staff, clean, well kept site.

Não gostou When the time comes for a refurb, the shower blocks could use more cubicles and showers.

Gostou Very peaceful few days. Staff in reception and on the grounds were pleasant. Lovely site with a lot of static caravans and a bar which served food. Only ate there once but it was good. This side was very well kept and tidy. The touring side is seperate and could really do with a good tidy up. Looked a bit scruffy. A few miles up the road is St. Abbs which is a lovely little place.

Não gostou The toilet block wasn't the best either. Again could do with a deep clean. There were a few people I talked to had said the same. One person I met had actually taken their own cleaning spray in to do the shower before they had one. Not good. Staff in the bar area were miserable.
