Hales Hill Park

Tyckte om Lovely little find. Nice and relaxed on the side of a river. We only stayed for 1 night but would love to go back and explore more nearby. The onsite bar was a great addition which was very warm and welcoming by the lady behind the bar and even went out of her way to sort a bowl of water out for our dogs.

Tyckte om Obwohl nur noch vier Bitches frei waren, hätten sicherlich noch 20 Autos Platz gehabt hätten.

Tyckte inte om Der erste Eindruck, insbesondere im Bereich der Müllentsorgung mit verfallenen Gebäuden hat es nicht gefallen. Sehr negativ. Erbitten wir, dass wir beim Online buchen als deutsche eine Adresse aus England angeben müssen. Die Kreditkarte müsste doch ausreichen, ebenso sehr negativ ist, dass Pitch up nur noch vier freie Plätze angegeben hat, obwohl auf dem Platz noch 20 Autos hätten stehen können. Das hatten wir bei mehreren Buchungen bereits erlebt, es gab, obwohl in Pitch up.com die Plätze ausgebucht waren, noch freie Plätze vorhanden waren. Das verursacht unnötig Stress

Tyckte om Been here twice now and both times we have loved it. It’s very peaceful and have friendly staff

We paid less for sites with better facilities in comparible locations.

Tyckte om Very good campsite. Stayed here previously and managed to book it last minute as another campsite fell through. Good facilities (could do with some more toilets/showers) but lovely location and the pub is a great addition. Great open space.

Tyckte om Really lovely place, out of way of everything but easily accessible by car, toilets were clean just an evening floors were muddy but that didn’t affect stay as we wore footwear which I would of done even if it was sparkling. Washing up area was clean and drinking water on site (didn’t use) and the lovely guy at the small little club so a few drinks of an evening and they are reasonable priced. And watch the hundreds of ducks as you come on lane as they like to sit in road 🤣

Tyckte inte om Nothing to do with site or who ran it just a few campers that had screaming teens and thought they owned the site when they came on and screaming into the night (parents didn’t seem to have control of them, I had 5 kids of all ages and all was respectful of hours and other campers) and an old guy from the caravans that stopped his silver car in front of my young daughter whilst she waited for him to pass to cross and then she had to walk around him not properly being able to see around car if anything else was coming which was so rude of him so his wife didn’t have to walk a few extra steps to get in car.
