Tyckte om The staff were very welcoming and friendly, the pitches were spacious.
The shop was well stocked and of a reasonable price.

Tyckte inte om Showers were the push button type and lasted about 10 seconds so constant button pushing was needed, once hot they were far too hot with no temperature control.
The hard standing pitches were great but the stones were very large and so shoes were a necessity in the awning.
Regular smells of someone smoking weed.

We’re sorry to hear some aspects of your stay didn’t meet expectations. We understand the push-button showers can be frustrating, and we appreciate your comments regarding both the timing and temperature control — this is something we will review with our maintenance team. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the hardstanding pitch stones and will take this into consideration for future improvements.
We take reports of inappropriate behaviour, including smoking on site, very seriously. We encourage guests to report this to the team during their stay so we can investigate and address it promptly.

Tyckte om Nice Site but no sun on our pitch and on a thoroughfare through the fence to another pitch. Owners very friendly and helpful. Will stay again but on another pitch.

Tyckte om What a wonderful site beautiful lovely staff and very nice pitch areas and must say the new toilet and shower block very modern also had a lounge with Tv, laundry and access for wheelchair etc, great washing up sink area, water nice and hot, very secure sight lovely shop, coffee shop and restaurant. Lovely shop with loads of gifts in. The walks were amazing and animals and a lovely walk through the tunnel under the A66 to a local small village with a lovely pub and great food. I would recommend this site

Tyckte om Loved this place, very spacious and lots to do nearby! Shower blocks are clean and very spacious also. Shops are fresh produce with lovely restaurant.
Excellent play park for the children.
Lovely site and definitely will come back.

Tyckte om Lovely non commercialised site. Clean toilet and shower block. Indoor washing up facilities.
The cafe on site is nice and the farm shop sold nice produce.

Tyckte inte om Too close to the A66, lots of road noise. Incorrectly booked onto a tent pitch then moved to a pitch that was on a very steep slope (despite levellers).

We’re sorry the rest of your stay didn’t quite meet expectations. We understand the road noise from the A66 can be noticeable on some pitches, and we apologies for the uneven ground of the pitch you were moved to. That’s certainly not the experience we aim to provide.

Tyckte om Handy stopover on the A66. Lovely farm shop, cafe and gorgeous gift shop. Good dog walk off site.
Warm showers, clean toilets.

Showers good, but would appreciate a shelf for shampoo, shower gel, etc. Stool available but need that for sitting to dry feet.
