Riddings Wood Holiday Park

Tyckte om Lovely campsite, ideal for families as it has a playground. The toilet/shower facilities were very very nice and extremely clean, all the time!
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Gave us some leaflets for local takeaways if needed. And did come and check on us on the first night asking if the noise level was ok, which of course we didn’t mind people playing music.

Tyckte om We stayed over a long weekend, out of season so a lot calmer than the summer time.

Also to note, we stayed in the top half of the site on electric pitch during a major downpour, the site was not boggy or flooded despite the very heavy rain.

Nice and quiet with some lovely sounds of owls hooting away during the night.
Lots of other wildlife about too.
Nice location to take the doggo for a walk around the site.

Site staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.

The site is well kept and tidy throughout.

Showers were a good temperature.

Toilets were clean and well kept.

Pot washing station is easily accessible and good water temperature.

Tyckte inte om No seats in the shower. There are hooks to hang things, SO MAKE SURE YOU BRING YOUR WASH BAG.

Tyckte om Nice site - well protected by surrounding trees (listen out for the family of Tawney owls calling to each other over night!). Available facilities are fine and kept clean - though worth noting that they’re not accessible to anyone who can’t do stairs. Site managers are lovely and we would happily book again.

There is an accessible toilet/showers for any customers who have issues using or accessing the main toilet facilities. The key is in the reception, thank you for raising this issue.

A bit of a gem so close to home.

The evenings are surprisingly quiet too.

Tyckte inte om Our hard standing pitch was very slopped which for me is the major negative for this site. But at the same time this pitch was overlooking the park so a bit of Ying and Yang.

Tyckte om Thought this site sounded good was ok for travelling around but was the worst site I've stayed on

Tyckte inte om Toilet block was not but not clean went for a walk round the field and it stunk of sewers and at the bottom of the field it looked like fly tippers had been dumping all the rubbish here

We are sorry to see that you wont be returning in the future.

Thank you for letting us know why you were on site about the Elson point, we took immediate action and the point was emptied very quickly. The Elson point is normally emptied every 4 weeks and during your visit it was week 3, we brought forward the schedule and it was emptied immediately. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
