Mi è piaciuto Super clean facilities, these were clean multiple times throughout the day. .
Pitch size was also amazing!

Mi è piaciuto Stayed overnight in The Pinelodge - Absolutely fantastic!

The cabin is equipped with a full mini kitchen that features a combi-Microwave, Oven and Grill. There is a Kettle, Toaster and Air Fryer, a full compliment of cutlery, crockery, whilst complimentary tea bags/coffee sachets and milks are also provided.

The cabin is spacious and airy and features a separate shower/toilet/sink. There is a cuboid table and chairs inside the cabin, whilst there is also a seating/BBQ area outside. Joined on the side of the cabin is a fully functional hot tub.

There is simply nothing of note that is negative about the Lodge and we will be returning for a longer stay next year. We'll done to all who run the cabins.

Mi è piaciuto I couldn't check in for two days as no staff were on site or answering the phone, they did eventually turn up & said sorry u can stay another night on us but then the other staff the next day said no they won't do it so very bad no decent facilities & pictures are not the same place once u arrive days bike trail but that's not true.

We are sorry to see that you will not return in the future.

We have checked our check ins for Sunday 20th September which was your arrival day and you were checked in at 3.22pm and your check out date was 24th September our records show that you stayed on site for the 4 nights booked.

You were upgraded to an electric pitch at no extra cost.

The managers spoke to you on the 23rd September when you informed them that you were staying an extra night free of charge, as another staff member told you that you could. We asked why you had been told you could have the extra night and you replied because I have been helping out whilst you were away. We spoke to the staff member you were referring to by name and she was unable to recall what you had helped her out with or saying you could have an extra night. We spoke to you again to say we were not facilitating the free night and you referred to our staff member as being a liar.

Our housekeeping and reception staff have said that you had plenty of interaction with them during your 4 night stay.

We are unable to respond to why you thought the facilities were not decent.

We do not have a bike trail here at Riddings unsure why you thought we did.

We do have sister sites with some activities such as fishing, some of our guests get the sites mixed up.

We are aware some of the pitches are not level, we are having some re development work done over the winter months and some of our pitches will go to static caravans, within the plans are to have the roads moved and re surfaced.

Mi è piaciuto Very nice site, arrived late so parked in their entrance area, in the morning when going to the reception their was no-one there still. So just called them, very friendly, explained the situation

When I spoke to them explain I had my elderly parent with me and they offered to see of they were able move my plot closer to toilets which I didn’t take up offer, as I have toilet in camper


Toilets were very clean, and so were the showers ( was only there for weekend and September)

Very quite site, was a large camping field very much on a slope, playing field and children’s park area

At the side of site is a lovely woods to walk, I understand you can walk through there to Codnor resvoir

Non mi è piaciuto When went to reception during our stay, didn’t seem to be anyone around as sign on door, saying on site but didn’t see anyone.

Was on a hard stand very much on a slope, the electric point was broken, had a extension cord coming out of post, so wasn’t sure about plugging in that , so used the other one, was in a Campervan so very uneven the plot we were allocated

Do feel that the difference between electric and no electric price is very expensive, as we have proven that you don’t use over £6 a day on electric, we have used a pay slot put a £1 in at a site before and only used about 40p for 3 days and were we’re cooking on electric and boiling a kettle

There is only 1 shower block ladies had 5 toilets and 4 showers, which I was surprised especially on how may electric plots there is and the camping field.

The reception is not always manned during the day when it is quiet, we work as a team here at Riddings and the reception will help with the cleaning of lodges and toilets, we do put a note on the door of reception with a phone number to call if we are out on site. This was the case during the time you visited us.

The electric cable on pitch 16 is safe to use we are sorry we were not able to reassure you during your stay and plugging into the next one was the right thing for you to do for peace of mind.

The electric is charged as an average use, some units can use up to £10.00 per day.

Most of all liked the community in the village and the Seven Star pub such a great place.

Non mi è piaciuto The lack of security people not staying on the site coming and going all day and night gates left open
Didn't see any staff unless cleaning staff
Not suitable for disabled
Disabled bathroom not properly equipped we really struggled no hand rail for balance and no seat to dress no hooks for clothing or towels. Had to ask for a key and found the room dirty.
Only one water point for whole site. So long way to walk carrying water. Surface of roads were awful so couldn't use a mobility scooter.

Mi è piaciuto Nice location with good views across the site. Shower block and toilets looked new. Would stay hear again providing the Pitch was level.

Non mi è piaciuto The driveways around the site very uneven and need work. Our Pitch was on a slope even with ramps still not level.

Mi è piaciuto This place was a hidden gem! The lodge was very clean, equipped with everything you would need and more! Very quiet location, the bed was very comfy, the kitchen came with an air fryer and the hot tub was a massive added bonus!
