Mi è piaciuto Quiet site with good views

Non mi è piaciuto The toilet weren't clean on our arrival even though the departure has left one hour before. They were cleaned that afternoon but not cleaned again during our 3 day stay. There was a notice to say dump grey water in the hedge. Exit barrier open 24/7. Roadway very uneven. Several units on site that live there for long periods of time that are untidy.

The toilet block is normally deep cleaned in the afternoon, we have a thirty minute break between check out and check in, some guests leave a little late and some arrive early. We find deep cleaning after change over works best. the toilets have there first check in the morning around 6am, they are checked again at 10.00 am cleaned in the afternoon when everyone has finished showering they are checked late afternoon and again in the evening during very busy periods. We can reassure you that if they were not cleaned or attended to for 3 days there would be no toilet roll and they would be un usable.

The site including the road is to be re developed over the winter, we will install a new barrier as well, the current barrier cannot be repaired as we are unable to get the parts.

We are not a residential site, we have seasonal pitches, we are in the process of formally informing our seasonal to tidy there areas and pitches.

We are re-developing the site over the winter months and some of the hard standing pitches will move over to static caravans. There are plans to re surface the roads so the site will be much improved by the early spring and summer.

Mi è piaciuto Hot tub was fantastic, was clean upon entry plenty of kitchen bits available for any occasion

Main bed for comfortable, very warm inside which was good

Customer service prior was prompt via email answering any questions.

Non mi è piaciuto The artificial grass near front door was soaked throughout our stay due to recent rain, once stepped on was essentially a black muddy sponge, no sweeping brush or mop supplied, naturally with 2 children it was difficult to keep the limited floor area dry, That said if there was somewhere dry to remove shoes near the front door it wouldn’t of been an issue, maybe a raised deck area would of prevented this.

No WiFi available on site, limited 4/5G signal, autism parents, heads up!

We are looking into the artificial grass surface to the lodges, there is decking underneath but we found this became slippery when wet, we are currently looking into alternatives.

We will look at providing mops for the lodges, there should have been a brush and we apologise if this was missing.

Please be reassured that we did have heavy rain which fell onto hard ground which made the surface tricky, we did have someone on site to assist cars if they had got stuck. We will shortly close the lower field for the winter period.

Non mi è piaciuto There was only 1 shower/toilet block for the whole site. On a busy wet bank holiday weekend they were pretty dirty most of the time. No gray waste disposal, had to empty into the hedges.

The toilets were cleaned frequently over the bank holiday, they were mopped almost hourly. We do supply basic cleaning tools for guests to clean after themselves.

The grey waste is by reception.
