All of our pitches have access to electric hook-up, although on some pitches the connection point is positioned just beside the pitch itself rather than directly on it. For your pitch, the hook-up point was located in the flowerbed next to the pitch, around two metres from the edge.

We were also sorry to read your comments regarding staffing and facilities. During your stay we were operating with our usual team, and as it was half term, our café, restaurant, bar, shop and reception were all open for longer hours than normal. The only service affected that week was the availability of fresh croissants in the shop due to a supplier issue.

Cleanliness across the park is something we work very hard to maintain. Our shower and toilet facilities are cleaned daily, while our refuse and recycling points are checked and tidied every day. Bin collections take place weekly on Fridays, although if bins become full beforehand then they're swapped for empty bins.

We appreciate that everyone’s experience is different, and we are disappointed that this was your impression, particularly as we are often complimented on both our cleanliness and customer service.

With regard to the Wi-Fi, it is normally available across the whole park, and had we been made aware of any issue during your stay, we would have happily looked into it for you.

Polubione Large spacious pitch. Toilet block was always clean and was never too busy. Little stream and woodland walk a great way to keep everyone and the dog cool.
Short distance to Ilfracome, Woolacombe, Barnstaple.
Two play parks on site.

Niepolubione I didn't see any clear opening times for the shop/restaurant which meant we didn't eat there.
The road could be quite noisy at times.

I'm pleased you enjoyed those aspects of your stay. Regarding the comparison with Stowford, I appreciate that guests will naturally compare parks when choosing where to stay. However, for the dates of your visit, a comparable pitch at Stowford would have been nearly £70 more expensive than your stay with us. It's also worth noting that while Stowford offers additional facilities such as a swimming pool and evening entertainment, access to most of those facilities carries additional charges.

At Hidden Valley Park, we aim to provide spacious pitches, a family feel along with a peaceful environment, and transparent pricing so guests can choose the holiday experience that best suits their needs.

Polubione There's nothing not too like, its in a lovely setting, the pitches are nice and big, everything is lovely and clean, toilets and shower block.
The lakeside restaurant and bar is lovely, really nice fresh food and lovely staff. Had a lovely stay and we would definitely come back again, cant recommend enough.

Polubione What an amazingly beautiful place to stay. Very friendly, cheerful staff. Loved the fact that the bus to Ilfracombe stops right outside the park. Very tasty food in the on site restaurant again with lovely staff. Amazing walks around the site. Great level pitches, even putting the electric onto the meter & then a refund for any unused was easy & fast to do. The toilets & showers were immaculately clean, even had under floor heating & plenty of hot water without having to push a button. Loved it here.

Polubione Great size pitch.
Lovely walk with lots of trees
Bus stop to ilfracombe, Woolacombe .
In ilfracombe the bus stops outside of a Wetherspoons.
Ilfracombe is beautiful ,lots of lovely quaint shops, harbour and places of interest.
We caught a second bus to Woolacombe ,very nice ,but very small we thought it was going to be a larger place.

Niepolubione Electric card didn’t work, had to walk to reception who said yes money was on card, had to try again. Had to ring for someone to bring new card .
Shower block was ok (probably in need of updating) ladies. no running hot water no matter how long you ran it for, it was cold, also said by other people we spoke to. Same for washing pot facilities just Luke warm if lucky.
Grass was long and we were camping, had to ask for mower to come a cut in front of tent because when wet we got wet. This was sorted.

Polubione Spacious pitches, easy access to toilet shower facilities etc. Nice little bar with outside space to sit. Beautiful surroundings with so many different trees and plants. The lake was peaceful too. Lovely staff, very welcoming and helpful. Electricity was optional, we stayed 5 nights and got a refund for the credit not used. Lovely kids play area with a stream running through the site.
