What customers say
Beautifully kept, peaceful spot in the woods. Campers rave about spotless facilities, good-sized sites, and friendly staff. Great base for local beaches and towns, handy bus route too. Minor road noise & WiFi hiccups noted, but overall a ripper, many planning to come back!

Liked Peace and quiet the surroundings and the toilets and showers were spotless
Disliked The food in the restaurant was Very poor , the soup was like gruel and the mashed potato was disappointing to say the least, the steak and ale pie was more a bowl of meat with a piece of puff pastry laid on the top, a pie, NO way

Power optional gravel caravan site (large)
Liked Good clean site, good facilities, good pitch, nice bar, restaurant, outdoor seating area, friendly staff. Lovely woodland walk which was great for dogs.
Disliked Nothing particularly to dislike about the site. The steps up/down to the facility block could potentially be a bit precarious in wet/cold weather. Also found the ANPR barrier slow to rise but minor points.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations.
All of our pitches have access to electric hook-up, although on some pitches the connection point is positioned just beside the pitch itself rather than directly on it. For your pitch, the hook-up point was located in the flowerbed next to the pitch, around two metres from the edge.
We were also sorry to read your comments regarding staffing and facilities. During your stay we were operating with our usual team, and as it was half term, our café, restaurant, bar, shop and reception were all open for longer hours than normal. The only service affected that week was the availability of fresh croissants in the shop due to a supplier issue.
Cleanliness across the park is something we work very hard to maintain. Our shower and toilet facilities are cleaned daily, while our refuse and recycling points are checked and tidied every day. Bin collections take place weekly on Fridays, although if bins become full beforehand then they're swapped for empty bins.
We appreciate that everyone’s experience is different, and we are disappointed that this was your impression, particularly as we are often complimented on both our cleanliness and customer service.
With regard to the Wi-Fi, it is normally available across the whole park, and had we been made aware of any issue during your stay, we would have happily looked into it for you.
Thank you again for your feedback and for choosing to stay with us.
Richard.
