Likte: Great location 5 mins walk to the beach

Likte ikke: Was like staying on an abandoned allotment, grass needs cutting, tidying up everywhere, washing facilities had no hot water, no roof, no plugs! There is so much glass on the road / path that is dangerous to dogs and children, soooo overpriced for what you get. Not value for money cost me £105 for 2 night £12 my 2 dogs for what? Glass in their paws ?

Regarding the location, we're glad you appreciated the proximity to the beach. However, it's clear we fell far short in other crucial areas.

We are very concerned to hear about the state of the grounds and the lack of essential facilities like hot water, a roof, and plugs in the washing area. That is simply unacceptable, and we will be looking into this immediately to understand what went wrong and to rectify these issues as a top priority.

We are aware of the issue with the road and we are having it rescreened shortly

Likte ikke: The whole campsite is a rubbish ground.
To drive to your pitch is old sharp harcore covered with glass.
The showers are dirty which are clogged up. Toilets are not that clean.
There is sewage comming up through the ground absolutely smells vile.
Even the chickens looked miserable.
We left early to go elsewhere.
I don't like writing bad reviews but people need to know how bad this place is .
I can't believe what we paid to stay here it's a total health hazard.

Our road is being remade this week and we have reported your concerns with cleanliness to housekeeping. Our free ranging hens are loved by our guests and are sure friendly, some are in brood at present so may not be looking their best!

Likte ikke: The site was a danger. I am just glad I didn't have children or dogs. Our face dropped when we drove into site especially as we paid £68 per night (most expensive site we've been on and the worse. The paths were full of broken glass and rusty metal pieces. One man found a rusty knife blade . Toilets no toilet roll , 2 sinks and very slow cold water out of one. Was never cleaned while we we there. Showers mould in joints. One broken hook to hand everything on. Couldn't put things on the floor as water flowed over shower base . Didn't take my sliders off as floor filthy. Outside washing up sinks filthy and only one had warm water.
General site disgusting. Paid for 3 night only stayed 2 . To depressing. Nobody dare move their vans/caravan/motohomes incase they damaged wheel. So glad we weren't in a tent.
My husband said not all urinals had water connected.
Can you justify the price and safety or lack if it. It doesn't warrant any stars but I states I have to have to give one. Not worth the one star.

Regarding the toilet and shower facilities, we have general cleaning protocols in place, and we will be reviewing our procedures to ensure they are being consistently met and are effective. We will also be checking the functionality of the sinks and showers. Similarly, we will be looking into the condition of the washing-up areas and the availability of hot water.

Likte: Location is perfect with just a 3 minute walk to South Beach.

The bathrooms are nice and well maintained.

Friendly staff.

Plenty of opportunities for exploration and beautiful views along the beach.

Likte ikke: Unfortunately they have used what looks like the cheapest builders rubble for the hardstanding parts of the location. Not ideal if you have pets or children as there was large parts of glass and plastic.
