Campeggio ideale per famiglie, con piazzole spaziose e servizi puliti. Apprezzato per lo staff cordiale e le tante attrazioni per bambini (animali, area giochi). Mi è piaciuto Very relaxed and friendly campsite. We loved the rustic feel of it and the design of the shop/bar etc. Loved having the bar and seating area for a central hub. The bouncy castle and animals were wonderful for the children. We chose a quiet spot at the end of the field so we had a bit more privacy.
Non mi è piaciuto There were a lot of unsupervised children on the bouncy castles not always being kind (not the campsites fault). It was a bank holiday so the site was very busy and it felt like a lot of parents were there to drink and let their children run wild. We’d love to return on a quieter weekend to enjoy the facilities as it is a little gem of a campsite.

Mi è piaciuto A nice friendly campsite with lots to keep the children entertained. The bouncy castles were a bonus, the goats and the kids were very cute (and gentle - the children loved feeding them) and the bird enclosure great.
The facilities were fine (I mean it is a campsite not a 4 star hotel), the staff friendly, the home fired pizzas tasty. We were there weekdays and it was nice that the kitchen and bar were open. The shop is well stocked and everything (bar, kitchen, and shop) reasonably priced.
Close to walk to the village along the canal path with 2 pubs, lovely cafe (and honesty treat box) and a good play park.
We pitched slightly away from the train line (adjacent to far hedge) and like some others say quite easy to get used to, by the second night I didn’t even hear them. Neither did our children!
Overall loved it, excellent value for money and will definitely be back!

Mi è piaciuto The bathrooms were all clean and tidy, bar was fab and good prices, shops was brilliant. Best thing was the baby goats! And the bouncy castle and play area for little ones.

We went online and found a way of booking and paying for the pitch. It had been a long day, and just want to pitch and relax. I suggest these instructions should be posted on the front door. We had to leave early the next day and could have easily left without paying

WiFi didn’t work at our pitch.
Toilets were generally clean, but one toilet blocked and it left around 40 men to one toilet cubical. There were urinals also.

Mi è piaciuto Quiet site - even with the trains (which we didn't mind). Nice large pitch area. Facilities best described as rustic but good showers. Onsite bar and cafe were unfortunately closed when we were there but look good with reasonable prices. Good free WiFi. Nice village location with a couple of good pubs and the canal
Non mi è piaciuto No-one onsite for checkin - but easily sorted with phone call. Facilities not the cleanest but that may be due to our arrival time after a busy weekend.

Mi è piaciuto Lots of space on pitch and the option of using the bar and kitchen on site.
Non mi è piaciuto The bin area needs a lot of attention and a few more toilets and showers would be a good idea.
