A aimé Had an amazing holiday here in our tent. Lovely site. Right near the beach, great for walks. Saw the sunrise. So much to do on site. Loved Joes American grill and the chippy. Saw sparkles the bunny show and played bingo. Outdoor pool great. Definitely coming back. Went into Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth. Must see is the Hippodrome Circus. Amazing.

N'a pas aimé Toilets could do with a few more cleans a day. Use more bleach and air freshener. Would be a good idea to leave a squeegee mop, so people can mop up the water after a shower, as the water runs into the middle between the showers and toilets.

A aimé I liked that it’s a very big place, and we didn’t feel alone in the middle of nowhere.

N'a pas aimé There are more things we didn’t like about this place. Firstly, the toilets were quite far from the tents and not in great condition. To access the swimming pool, we had to wait almost an hour at the entrance. The staff member checking our pool passes told us we could only enter at 2 o’clock, so we were left waiting. In the meantime, we tried to sit on the chairs by the outdoor pool, but another staff member asked us to leave, saying their policy doesn’t allow anyone to stay there before the opening time. Even when I asked if at least the children could sit, he insisted we leave.

On top of that, the sea is quite far away, the beach is full of stones, and there was also dog waste around, which made it unpleasant. Overall, I don’t recommend this place at all. We really disliked our stay and will not come back again.

A aimé The swimming pools and the animal activity which are free.

N'a pas aimé One shower block which needs knocking down and rebuilding, dirty/old and outdated. The washing up facilities are outside and again, dirty/old/outdated and although there is a small roof there outside. Pitch was also on quite a large slope.

Decent shop
Proximity to the beach
Ice cream was lovely

N'a pas aimé Toilets were a 2/5. Often had pee on the seats, no loo roll or soap.
Showers were lukewarm warm with flashes of hot.
Chip shop on site was mediocre.

A aimé The campsite area was well kept & tidy. Pitches quite close together but ok. The staff were all friendly and helpful in all areas. The restaurant food was a decent standard. Activities were all booked up online before we even arrived but we did always manage to get a walk-in at the swimming pool. But crazy golf etc available. Nice beach. Good location with plenty to do in the area.

N'a pas aimé The toilet/shower block needs updating and the hot water runs out. It is also quite a walk from the camping area and set nearer the static caravans that don't need it, so really feel an additional block needs to be provided in the camping area. The wait/queue in the restaurant could be lengthy so must be worse on the weekends, but the staff do their best.

A aimé The restaurant was lovely as was the bar area. All the staff were very nice.

Nisa on site shop was well stocked although they did run out of milk. Co-op is about a 10 minutes drive.

Pools were heated and clean.

N'a pas aimé Toilet block is in the static caravan section although they don't need them as they are self contained. Upto 250m walk to get there from the camping section which seemed stupid. They were fairly clean but looked very grubby as they are so run down. Gents has 4/5 sinks but only one dryer above one of the sinks. Hot water was hit and miss whatever the time of day.

The site seems to be more of a touring site with most people only staying a day or two. Kids felt uncomfortable to play as there was name calling from some of the clientele.

Says no BBQs but there were lots there and fire pits.

N'a pas aimé Bath room showers cold all the time shower door lock broke of in our hands causing me to fall back and hit the shower head that then re wet my clothing rewerning my top with hair die as got re wet after drying no were to put ur clothing or shower stuff when showering bathroom floor dirty other people's dirty water come under shower on to ur feet and is dirty men cleaners in womens bathrooms and we got sick from eating and drinking on sight staff not considerate of customers people allowed to smoke weed on sight partys till early in morning even though reported to staff the club house drinks are exspensive and celings were held up with duck tape was a eye saw and staff made no effort to resolve problemes laundrette allso rubish broken and unable to use proply
