Me gustó We could choose our own pitch and we were able to have our son and his family in the pitch next to us.

Me gustó The pitches are large in size and there are ample toilet and shower facilities, they do get busy but it was august!
The pool was busy but a booking system is in place to limit this and ensure all had an opportunity for a slot.
Dog facilities are good, the pump track for kids was a good addition.

No me gustó Tents caravans and static are all mixed.
The owners try to keep the toilets and showers clean however they are often in a disgusting state, excrement all over the toilets rendering them unusable and the showers not much better.
It is a busy site, we pitched as far away from the main facilities and play areas as possible but children and adults appear to run wild on electric scooters and motorbikes with no stopping them from management or staff. The roads were used as a race track daily.
The arguments we witnessed between people using the site although amusing to watch was not ideal.

We’re very sorry that aspects of your stay did not meet expectations. We take concerns about cleanliness and safety seriously and always encourage guests to report any issues to our team during their stay so we can take immediate action. Peak periods, like August, can be very busy, and while our staff do their best to maintain a safe and clean environment, we appreciate your observations.

We can assure you that our staff and management do challenge those seen going too fast on scooters, especially electric scooters as they are not permitted on park.

Me gustó This is a brilliant family friendly site. Bathroom facilities were clean & well maintained. Lots to do on site & all staff we spoke to were friendly & helpful. Will definitely visit again.

Me gustó Great site and location. The entertainment team are absolutely amazing! There is so much for kids to do. Great clubhouse (with little Costa) and plenty going on. The site shop is well stocked for necessities and the chip shop and takeaway pizzas are a great option.

No me gustó Annoying the slots for the pool have to be booked and you only get 50 minutes. All bingo is cash payments but there’s only one way to get cash - a cash point that doesn’t work! The administration team in the office (especially the supervisor) are really really unorganised. The bathroom facilities are kept clean but are in desperate need of a return and are very dated.

Me gustó The site was very big with the choice of four fields and you could chose your own pitch. The toilets and showers were cleaned regularly by us. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good and the facilities were good. The shop prices were reasonable. We loved playing Bingo every night. Always lots of entertainment on for the kids and adults

No me gustó Unfortunately some guests didn't follow the rules with dogs and let them run around off the lead when walking around the camp. I also nearly stood in dog poo several times as owners hadn't cleaned this up. The day we went swimming, the pool was over crowded. You couldn't move without bumping into someone. Saw a few horrible accidents with kids falling off their scooters, trying to come down the hill right from the top. Lots of children were unsupervised on the road ( under 8) luckily we crawled up the road in the car, as so many children ran out or rode infront of us on their scooters, no parents in sight.

We also appreciate you highlighting some areas of concern. We take our dog policy seriously and will continue to remind guests that dogs must be kept on leads and waste must be picked up immediately. We're sorry to hear that this wasn’t consistently followed by some guests during your visit.

Regarding the swimming pool, it can get busy during peak times, and we understand how this may have impacted your experience. We’ll continue to review our pool capacity management to make it as enjoyable as possible for all guests.

The safety of children on site is incredibly important to us. While we encourage freedom and fun, we do ask that parents supervise their children, particularly around roads and hills. e-scooters are not permitted on park. I can assure you that our staff do challenge those using them when seen. Your comments will be passed on to our team to help inform our ongoing efforts to keep the park safe for everyone.
