Carvynick Holiday Park

Me gustó I love this campsite, we have come every year for the last 3 years and plan to continue, it's quiet, it's very well facilitated for everyone, friendly, and perfectly placed in Newquay.

No me gustó The only downside is the toilets still not being fixed at the top of the campsite from last year

With regards to the top shower/toilet block, we did not open these this year, which is why they all had closed signs on them.

Me gustó We loved our bank holiday weekend here. We loved the space between tents and the peace of the site. Toilets and showers were kept clean with plenty of hot water. We will definitely be back next summer.

Me gustó We paid for an electric Pitch and it was luckily situated near to the toilets/ showers, which was very convenient! The toilet and showers themselves were very nice and clean. The staff on site were very friendly and very accommodating/ helpful. From our Pitch, we had a lovely view into the wide open fields which was very nice to look at. There was a pub on-site that was being ran by a Mechlin star chef, so the food was fantastic! We only ate there one night as the pricing was also rather Mechlin star! The campsite itself was very easy to find and we were only a 20 minute drive away from Newquay/ Truro. The phone signal on site was also very good.

Me gustó The Fox’s Revenge is fantastic

No me gustó Shower block and toilets not very clean and very dated. Shower doesn’t stay on for more than about 30 seconds. Very annoying! Expensive for what it is!

Me gustó The size of the pitch & the view across the fields.
The friendly warm welcome from Craig when we arrived.
Easy to find.

No me gustó That everything was a little bit “tired” e.g. the post holding the water tap on our pitch, was rotten and basically on the floor.
There was no available pot washing facilities.
For a pet friendly touring park there is no dedicated dog exercise field.
Not the touring parks fault, but the amount of patrons of the pub on site who parked in pitches and even across the access to the toilet/shower block was unbelievable. We were informed this was a regular occurrence. Shudder to think how inconvenient this would be to people who’ve actually paid for a pitch.

We are sorry that it was not explained to you that there is a sink/washing up facilities in the onsite launderette.
Whilst we are a dog friendly site, we do not have a designated dog walking area. There are plenty of dog walking sites and beaches just a short distance from the holiday park.
Unfortunately, on this occasion there was an occurrence whereby patrons from the pub onsite parked on a few pitches and also blocked access to the wc/shower block. This matter has been discussed with the pub, and we apologised on their behalf for any inconvenient caused.

Me gustó Lovely and quiet and perfect location, with Newquay just a short 10 minute drive. Pitches were very well maintained and spacious. Perfect for me and my partner with our dogs! Would recommend

No me gustó Only bad thing is there wasn’t any WiFi(at least we didn’t think there was?)

Unfortunately, the weekend you arrived we were closed due to unforeseen circumstances, as such we emailed you your booking in information. There was also an emergency contact number provided should you have needed to contact us.
Whilst we are a dog friendly site, we do not have a designated dog walking area. There are plenty of dog walking sites and beaches just a short distance from the holiday park.
Regarding Wi-fi due to where we are situated you would need to discuss and issue with your network provider.

Me gustó Excellent site, well kept and in a quiet location, showers clean, good pub on site. On bus route

No me gustó Improvements on site, lighting on pitches and near toilets and showers. Wifi would be advantageous
