Surf! And a bar, and a beer garden – and easy access to Cornwall's famed attractions like the Eden Project 14 miles away: you might want to stay at Carvynick Holiday Park for quite some time. A 10-minute drive from the world-famed surf and the surf schools of Newquay, Carvynick is set in Cornish countryside among spectacular scenery, and centrally located for easy-drive day trips to the likes of St Austell, the Eden Project, Newquay Zoo, Bodmin Moor and the Clay Trails. In between days out exploring the local land, have an afternoon or evening in a pub run by chef Adam Handling (as this establishment is separate from the holiday park, you'll need to check directly with them for opening times and availability; it's a popular spot so booking ahead is strongly advised). Carvynick is pet friendly.

喜欢 Pub does excellent food it's expensive but really good food and lovely pub. The campsite pitch we had had lovely views. It was a good experience and as we were arriving late the owners phoned a head which was nice.picnic bench was handy.

不喜欢 We wasn't sure where our welcome pack was left but probably out fault as maybe even though no one would be there maybe we was still supposed to go to office first.

Ideal to get to local areas visited Newquay and turo, st austral and boscastle lovely pub we visited local quinnell inn and the pub on site staff very welcoming

喜欢 What a lovely scenic place to stay, took our motor home for a cople of nights, great pitches with all accessories.. thank you. Hope the lady on reception sorted her new aircon unit out lol..

喜欢 Great helpful staff.
A small camp site.
Location quite good with a cosy Michelin star pub right next to site and a convenience shop within walking distance.
Most pitches are very well spaced out with good and great views.
Very peaceful most of the time but you can hear a bit of road noise at night.

不喜欢 The radiator on constantly in the shower room even in height of summer.
Temperature of water in shower needs to be cooler in hot weather.
The short burst of shower water in between the pressing of the button.
No storage for shampoo, conditioner etc in showers.
Paths on campsite are very loosely gravelled and cars going in and out of the campsite create a lot of unnecessary dust for the campers.
Quite expensive for the facilities offered.
Poor TV signal.

i am glad you had a nice time, it is not a radiator, it is a heated towel rail, which you can turn on and off yourself, maybe someone used it before you went it shower, and did not turn it of, , we do hope to see you again.

喜欢 Special views and fantastic to be able to walk to the Tartan Fox where we had incredible food. Quiet, rustic site, we had an enjoyable stay.

不喜欢 Only a small number of showers and they became blocked at one point, needed a more regular clean to be more pleasant.

喜欢 Adam’s restaurant which is not owned by the campsite, spectacular views if you get a front pitch

不喜欢 dump ground at bottom, poor cleaning of facilities, no dishwashing facilities, very empty

来自经理: restaurant is owned by us, we lease it out!!, toilets and showers are cleaned 3 times daily you must have used them when someone else came out of the shower block, there is dishwashing facilities, 2 sinks, washing machines, fridge freezers, and electric points, you could have asked, and some one and we would of helped you, the reason it would of been quiet on your stay jeff, is that we get really busy for boardmasters, which is a music festival, , which is the day after you left all the very best

喜欢 Flat pitches, with great space. Toilet and shower block were modern and cleaned regularly. Great if you’re looking for somewhere a bit out of the main area of Newquay, 10 minute drive into the town.

The surf, sands, harbour, shops, restaurants and nightclubs of Newquay are a 10-minute drive from Carvynick Holiday Park, along with many surfing professionals in the town's surf schools to give lessons if you want to give it a go. A more relaxed vibe can be had in Cornwall's other fishing towns and villages like Padstow, Mevagissey, Fowey and St Ives, all with smart shops, arts and craft outlets, restaurants and cobbled streets. From any town, the spectacularly scenic walks of the South West Coast Path are easily reached, while if you want a more challenging hike the moorlands of Bodmin are an easy drive away. If you're cycling, pedal the Camel Trail from Bodmin to Padstow or along St Austell's clay trails a few miles from the site; bike hire for all sizes is available at both. The famed Eden Project is 14 miles away, and it's also easy to get to a wide range of family attractions like the Blue Reef Aquarium and the pools of Leisure World.
