Indie music is the main motivator for attending Latitude, but this family-friendly festival also has much more to it than performances by indie acts like Bombay Bicycle Club and Bastille. Catch comedy, cabaret and theatre shows, topped off with swimming and paddleboarding activities at the lake. There’s also the SOLAS retreat, where you can work on your wellbeing during the yoga and healing sessions.
If a calm sleeping environment is key for you, stay at a campsite near Latitude Festival. You can settle down under leafy green trees in thick woodland, breathe in the salty air of the seaside at the Suffolk coast or meet the animals on a laidback farm. If you’re bringing the kids, a holiday park might be a better choice for access to adventure playgrounds, family-friendly restaurants and spacious toilet blocks.
