Beautiful semi wild site with practical facilities.
Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked Beautiful and peaceful spot. Never crowded, spacious site and choice of pitch.
Friendly and welcoming hosts, Zoe and Colin, have thoughtfully created a perfect atmosphere for wild camping fans like us with just the right level of practical facilities: hot shower, use of fridge and freezer in a nearby covered building.
Fire pits allowed and firewood available.
We liked the emphasis on sustainability, encouraging campers to take responsibility for minimising one's accumulation of rubbish and also care of the land.
We also liked their policy of keeping the field vehicle-free, once unloaded. Parking is at a nearby dedicated spot which is cleverly hidden from view. For us, the benefits of this easily outweighed any mild inconvenience of not having a car slam bang next to the tent. All in all, a wonderful camping experience. Thank you!
Disliked Nothing. Everything was great.

Liked Zoë and Colin were absolutely great hosts and made us feel so welcome. My cousin and I are young and were treated so well and we really appreciate it. The campsite was beautiful and had a lovely atmosphere about it, surrounded by lovely woodland and nature. Facilities were flawless and there was a lot of thought and love put behind everything we had access to. We had an absolutely lovely time and I’ll definitely be back! ❤️

Liked Lovely campsite with extremely spacious pitches.
Very clean shower and toilet a short walk from the camping field. An absolute bonus is the kitchen area with tea making facilities and a fridge.
In the camping field is an outdoor sink and a compost toilet. All very clean.
It is a fantastic area for cycling, lots of country lanes, nice villages and a few hills.
If you want to get away from it all, sit by the campfire at night and watch the stars, this is a beautiful place to stay.
