Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked A wonderful, well run and organised site. The lady who met us was lovely. I love that the cars are left in a car park not on the pitch. A real gem of a find, would love to come back for a few days to enjoy this site.

Liked A nice park, with good spacious pitches and lovely location by the river. It is easy to get and uber for 20euros to the city.
Disliked Much further away from the city than expected - 1hour, 2 busses and a train ride. Also very close to airport so some noise. And the showers were cold.

From the manager: Dear Lavinia, We think this review is not for our park, as we are situated at 1.5km from Delft City centre. Just 20 min walk or 10 min by bus. Kind regards, Team Delftse Hout

Liked The site was laid out really well, with excellent pitch sizes. The staff on site where great. All the facilities were spotless and user friendly. The location is stunning, so much to do in the forest. Really quiet at night - everyone very respecful of the quiet hours. Loads of kids but all well behaved and coralled into the park :)

Liked I agree with all these highly rated reviews. 5* for everything - showers (wow), pitch size, friendliness, site general condition. There is nothing more you could need. It is staffed very well, with the team happy to help. It is not massive so a real personal feeling. The area is amazing, so much to do - walking(they even give you a map), towns, eating out, shopping. A wonderful six nights away.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked As usual a lovely relaxing couple of nights away, we really like it here.
Disliked Just wish there were better shower, toilet and wash up, it's Ok but only one shower for quite a lot of pitches and no hot water in wash up, so we only do short stays.
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: As mentioned above the hot water situation will be resolved shortly and we have more showers on the bigger plan. You did catch us on a difficult weekend - very busy - we are a family business and Dan's dad (my husband) passed away we were not at our best. Hope you will come back in the future.

Liked Always clean and friendly.Toilets are open through the night but some are locked off which is good so they are clean in the morning.Requested a quiet pitch and was not disappointed. Always have bug spray, esp when we like to pitch at sites with lakes and rivers, so bugs not a problem for us.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely open field, with plenty of space, not all crammed in. Woodland walk. Quiet site with welcoming host. Toilets and showers were acceptable, although prefer unisex rather than ladies and gents (but that is a personal choice and fully understand the reasons why they are this way). We will go back, but will request to be on the sides of the fields adjacent to the woods rather than the boundary fence (top tip). Good price for a family of four, three night stay on a bank holiday.
