Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Everything! The site was beautifully kept, clean with plenty of space on each pitch and a large area with no pitches which would be great for kids to play.
The location is great, 10-15 mins drive from most of the sights in the forest of dean and only a 10min drive to the nearest town with a supermarket. The views are incredible too and there is maps up near the toilets of local walks to see the deers roaming.
The little snack shop on site is great too when you don't fancy a drive for some chocolate!

Liked I booked the site last minute to try and break up the drive ahead of me the next day but wish I could have stayed longer!
Runnis meadow is in a beautiful peaceful spot, facilities are spotless. The owner was lovely and let me know about the local wildlife and dog walks.
There are plenty of kids play things to borrow on site which was lovely to see.
Disliked Phone signal on some networks isn't great on site so save anything you need onto your phone before going. But it was actually a nice break!

Liked Beautiful views, toilets were immaculate, reasonably priced and loved the email ahead of our trip with directions and info on booking. Fantastic location just off motorway and although really close we didn't have an issue with noise
Disliked It's only a mile away from Tebay services and accessible by back roads so prepare for a dent in your bank balance.

Liked The views, the sunsets, site is immaculately kept. But the owners make this site. They take 5/10mins chatting to everyone on site and giving advice on local area etc. We've been twice now and no doubt will be back again!
Disliked That we had to leave earlier than planned with a poorly dog

Liked 360 views. Site was so well kept and the owner was super lovely and let us know our pitch number before we arrived. Then checked in with some useful bits after we were settled.

Liked Everything! Location was just stunning with the river running next to site.
The site was clean, well layed out. Although it was fairly busy we certainly didn't feel like everyone was crammed in and it was still quiet enough to hear the river too.
The owner was fab showed us our spot and gave us a quick run down of the area. We'll definitely be back!

Liked Everything! It's the little things that made this site so lovely. Spacious pitches, site was clean and well looked after. They had peddle go carts and hay bales to climb on for the kids which my son spent hours playing with.
Bar in the barn was gorgeous and I loved the short opening hours as it meant no one got roudy drunk and site stayed quiet.
The owner couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming (keeping kitchen open late for a family who had arrived much later than they had planned).
Toilets were clean and loved all the info on the walls about local area.
We'll 100% be back here for a longer stay next time!

Liked Quiet, nice and flat. It's just a field on a farm but great for a 1 night stop over. Sign on field so we knew where to go
Disliked Not so much a dislike as we knew it was basic but there's no facilities at all (bins, water point, toilets etc) so make sure you're prepared

Liked The views, the stars, the owners couldn't have made us feel more welcome. Facilities were spotless.
Plenty of space for the kids to run around without bothering other people. Lots of level spots available and some more sheltered spots for people in tents.
Disliked Leaving to go home to work...
