Liked Excellent campsite. Really friendly and helpful. The use of fire pits and selling of firewood make for a perfect evening. Only a mile from Hen Cloud

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Absolute pleasure of a campsite. Perfectly located in the shadow of Mamtor. Exactly one mile to the Trig (which makes a perfect spot to watch the sun go down)
Huge trees to camp under which made a highly welcome relief from the heatwave.
It’s windy (obvs as it’s adjacent to Windy Knoll) so prepare ahead of pitching. Pizza on a Saturday (yum yum). Lovely campsite manager and fresh eggs for breakfast. As its remote limited signal which made a wonderful and unexpected detox Would recommend and stay again.
Disliked Shower is great. £1.00 for three minutes. Just be prepared to wait for a moment. - take a cuppa and relax.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Great no frills site. Lots of space. Excellent pub 5 minutes away
Two toilets available which were cleaned regularly
Easy check in- just phone and then go and pitch up where there is space
Excellent campers…all was quiet at 22:00
Really good location and excellent views
Disliked Sloping field so difficult to find a spot for a tent box. This is clear in the reviews but just flagging for others.

From the manager: Thank you for your review, it is always very kind when we have guests that take the time to review our site. I am glad you found the site good. Just to clarify we do have a total of 4 loos in total and 5 showers and plans for next year to increase these. during high summer season, we do look to bring in extra loos as well.
