Liked I liked this little site, it was close to symondsbury estate which we loved, and was a nice walk away from the site to the village. Bridport is a nice market town and West Bay is great. fThe electricity is metered, pay as you go, which is a fair way to do it. They are having major roadworks in the area, which was noisy at times which is why i marked it at 4 not 5. We will go back when its all finished after christmas.

Liked Position, walking distance yo the gorge and village. Also the river walk which is great if you have a dog.

Liked We love this site, peaceful and in a very pretty spot. We enjoy the walks from the park through the wood along the ant trail to the pub. The nature reserve is lovely so many butterflies and bees. Our dog loves the rambles. If that is what you like then we recommend you try it, you won't be disappointed. Great showers, spotlessly clean and well cared for by the owners.

Liked We love this little touring park, the new owners are very welcoming and they work hard to keep it spotless. The amenities are very good and well looked after. There is a short stroll to the farm shop where they sell the best sausages and burgers. Nice relaxing stay, and of course adults only. Free WiFi

Liked We had a lovely 2 night stay for a weekend break and loved it. The owners are very helpful and welcoming. This site suited us perfectly we loved the natural, rustic feel which matches the area as it is next to a nature reserve and heathland. Great stroll through the wood to the pub. So lots of walks from the site, great if you have a dog like us. No outside fairy lights etc allowed, as it is a bat conservation area, therfore dark at night which allowed us to see the sky full of bright stars. We felt very comfortable there, very peaceful which is what we wanted. The toilet and showers are spotless and also the washing up area. We will be back next spring when they reopen and look forward to it.

Liked Peaceful and laid back. Great walks directly from the site, nice walk to coleford which is a pleasant little town. For families with children, there is a really good play area at Coleford Park 10 mins walk away. Loved our 5 days in the Forest of Dean and we will be back.

Liked We had a nice laid back weekend at Barley Meadow. The camp is very clean and well kept. The enclosed dog walk is a nice addition. There is some road noise but it didn't spoil our stay at all. We walked across to the farm shop, the sausages and pork and apple burgers are amazing. The staff are very friendly and we have already re booked.
