A great campsite run by lovely people
Powered grass and earth campsite
Liked The site owners are warm and friendly and helpful. The pitches are generous in size and some the flatest pitches i have stayed on. There is a useful shop on reception which sells the basics at reasonable prices. There is good security on site with electric barriers for entry and departure. (Don't forget your refundable £10 cash for your key fob). The toilet and shower block was clean with plenty of facilities. Overall a great campsite with loads of great places to visit nearby like Teignmouth and Brixham.
I can't wait to come back again.

Liked Lovely and quiet, large pitches and just a nice and relaxed feel.
Disliked Not so much a dislike but more of a comment. The showers had loads of hot water but were very narrow. Also, they ask for a cash deposit for a barrier token. It’s 2025????
Clean and tidy facilties

Liked The openess of the pitches
Good dog walk nearby
Centralised for sightseeing
Disliked Showers very narrow and no room to keep clothes dry .... toilet block very dated
Elsan & grey waste quite a distance if you are in the far corner .... also if the weather was bad it could do eith flags or concrete around the area ... the same with the water taps ... could do with a few more water points

A perfect campsite to get away to
Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Everything, with no exaggeration, exceeded my expectations, and I’d already read the reviews. Debbie and Allan made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived, explained where my pitch was and said if I didn’t like it I could move. But it was perfect. The pitches are large, totally level, and easy to park in. I was hooked up in minutes and settled in. Friday night the local farmer was putting on a barbecue for the site so I treated myself to a ribeye steak with sautéed potatoes! A great start to my break.
You have plenty of space - easily get a van, tent/awning and car in if you want. The whole site feels open, and not at all cramped like many places. Campers with dogs are welcome but they must be kept in a lead at all times. Everyone was respectful of each other for noise and keeping places clean and tidy.
The toilets and showers are immaculately clean, tidy and well lit. The water is hot and the shower rooms have a handy seat as well as hooks on the doors. It’s no wonder they’ve won several awards for the quality of their facilities.
Water points at all four corners of the site, and a dedicated washing up room with hot water and 3 sinks, plus a freezer for ice blocks
The site is in a bat conservation area so vans have to be dark at night - no rowdy parties at this place! Just what I needed to wind down from work - peaceful, no hassle, lovely atmosphere and a friendly knowledgeable couple keeping everything running smoothly.
This was my first trip in my campervan and it was perfect. I’ll be back and cannot recommend Oakmoor enough
Disliked That I had to come home, and prepare for work!
