Disliked - Access road uneven, my car had trouble driving up. Larger campers and caravans will not make it.
- Unwelcoming, dump, no signage and nobody on site to show the way.
- Toilets are from a building site.
- Showers had no hot water.
- Other campers started playing loud music at midnight, then another started tooting their horn.

From the manager: Good morning Brandon, Thank you so much for taking the time to give us really useful feedback. We do have a team on the field who went over to the one group that had turned on their car stereo and told them to turn off the music, which did happen. Unfortunately we can only be reactive when people get caried away, there is not much we can do to prevent other than informing people before they arrive that it is a family site. You are correct the toilets are not up to standards, the farm had an electrical issue which you will have seen the Farmer working non stop to rectify the issues which may be why you felt there was no one to greet you. Unfortunately the engineer that was booked did not show up. It has been a truly challenging week with regards to this and the decision to focus on reinstating the water and power over meeting and greeting was taken. The driveway is mentioned in the welcome email and is a track, Penn Meadow Farm is a working family farm. Over the winter we faced a number of storms which in partnership with the Chiltern hills did flush away some of the track. Due to construction restraints from the local council, making a direct plan as to how to rectify this is a very long process to ensure they are kept happy with permanent changes to the aesthetics of the area. We do have a number of Vans on site who have come up the driveway to find a place to settle. Over all I am so sorry you did not get to truly enjoy the beauty of Penn Meadow Farm and its full amenities as they are stunning. The toilet block has been built by the famer who has even been featured on BBC's amazing spaces for his stunning carpentry skills, I know he will take your comments very much to heart as he really does put everything into what he does.

Liked - Clean and tidy.
- Friendly staff in Tavern.
- For holiday lodges and campervans.
Disliked - Toilets, showers and drinking water closed near tent pitches. You don't want to have to hike to toilets during the night. Was not told this when checking in, fellow campers told us after me trying to check all the doors.
- Check-in until 9 pm but reception closed so had to go to the tavern.
- Not so much for tents, felt a bit pushed to a field in the back next to the dump, the view on the other side was beautiful though.

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback, upon check in we informed all guests that the camping toilets and showers where closed and explained that the Main Facility building was open. We do have in the T&C that for late arrivals you must check in at the Tavern Bar & Restaurant as you are correct the shop closes at 5pm. I am unsure what you mean there is not much for tents ? You have the same facility's as all guests on the park whether you are in a tent, Hot-Tub Lodge or a Private Caravan, We are sorry that you will not visit us again but you can see from all the reviews we take pride in what we do.
