Liked Facilities were good
Location was great for reaching Pontcysyllte Aqueduct (and Horseshoe Falls, although we didn’t have time to do both).
Pretty grass pitches, with electrical hookup, and conveniently-sited water points.
Aldi supermarket very close by.
Disliked Some traffic noise, from the nearby A483, was to be expected, but we were really unfortunate to have booked the one night that a section of that road was being RE-SURFACED, which was extremely loud until just after 11pm!
Also, this was the most expensive site that we stayed at on this trip: probably due to its location, as there were several that were more expensive, in the Llangollen area, and that included an extra £7 charge for our 3rd adult person.

Thoroughly enjoyed it and will return.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Me and my partner only camped for one night but the site was lovely and quiet as described, which was in the reviews I read prior to booking. The shower and toilet facilities were kept nice and clean. The pitch was really good, not perfectly level but pretty damn good. Beautiful surroundings, the staff are super helpful and friendly, all in all awesome and will be staying again in the future without a doubt. Loved the sounds of the birds in the morning, beautiful!
Disliked Just to reiterate a previous review really, there is a main road very close but this for us as well turned to white noise and didn't bother us personally.

Lovely site, would return but to a hard standing pitch due to electric
Powered grass campsite
Liked Lovely site with plenty of space for the kids to play games on the grass in front of the caravan. Extremely helpful staff. The guy who showed us in and brought the fire pit to us was really friendly and deserves a shout out.
Disliked Just missing a park and the electric point was far away from the pitch we were allocated. We have a very long cable but still wouldn't reach so had to ask if we could swap pitches to be closer to it. Had the site been full, this would have caused us big issues
