Camping pod (family)
Liked Super quiet remote location. Clean facilities, family run campsite. Friendly owners.
Cars not allowed near pitches, its ok to unload and need to park in designated parking area, which on its own looked pretty cool.
We got lucky and our pod was away from anyone else and we could enjoy peace and quiet.

Camping pod
Liked Quite large site, but pretty quiet. Clean facilities, pretty new showers and what i found it funny and quite nice, bird chirping sounds in toilets and showers, amazing playground for kids. Good location near Ullswater. Cabin was simple, clean and easy to find. There were wending machines of some snacks.

Cabin (no pets)
Liked Everything.
Remote and scenic location, Everything you need is in pod (as in everything - plates, pans, pots, utensils, blankets, tv, dryer, hair dryer etc). Close to some locations (Betws-y-Coed for example), friendly owner when he came by, but in all almost no contact with checking in and out, owner messaged in morning about where to get the key, which pod we stay and other small info.
We are actually thinking of returning, maybe in late autumn time.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked It was second time we stayed there this year (first was camping pod in May, now in tent), peaceful, lot of facilities around campsite, fishing permit included in stay (had few tiny fishes, happy non the less, one guy half drunk came and talked with me and showed me his catches, pretty fun chat), shops, cafe, entertainment on site, would be nice for another, possibly smaller playground for kids near tent field (just an idea), lot of friendly people around. Price was good for stay. Mablethorpe beach is few minutes drive (got sunburn)
Disliked Not really a dislike, but pitch allocations were kind of weird. All tents were kind of cramped together while there was a lot of free empty spaces across the field. It felt little bit cramp/going into neighbours space.

Camping pod
Liked One of the best sites we have stayed. Remote and quiet. Hostess gave us a quick tour of all available facilities and Ray later came to us to have a pleasant chat with us. Shared kitchen with all things you ever need, (plates, cups, cut boards, oven, microwave, toaster, fridge) , "Community hall" with lot of games for kids and seating area, and clean showers.
Each pod had multiple beds, basic necessities (cups, kettle, mini fridge), toilet, table with chairs. You can park your car close to pod.
Remote but amazing location. Amazing views of faraway mountains and lot of sheep's around site. And two, kind of annoying, chickens, who didn't leave us alone and stole some food from us.
Disliked Nothing. Seriously nothing. Maybe thieving chicken. They were cool though. :)

Camping pod
Liked * clean toilets,
* amusement area to spend your money
* shop (spar) in park territory
* bar/restaurant and costa in park territory.
* peaceful.
* pod we stayed was pretty clean.
* price for a night
Disliked might be a silly nitpick, in front of pod 3, there wasnt any ground covering and it was muddy. Nothing major, but still.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite (sloping)
Liked Quiet. View was amazing. Waking up seeing mountains around was brilliant. Clean campsite. Sheep's and goats around, can be little bit noisy but they made me laugh more than annoy. Possibility to buy eggs (which they were out of sadly) and other drinks and snacks.
Disliked Only dislike was other visitors. One clown was speeding on site constantly. other than that, no dislikes. Will return next year.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Great and friendly host, explained everything on arrival. secure and remote location (as in locked gates with code and far enough from roads to be quiet), view was great, simple but clean facilities (shower, toilets, wash up areas, drinking water, bins). Budget friendly (2 adults + child - 8gbp).
Disliked whole field was on little slope. not a big deal, but noticeable from distance. On spot it doesn't feel that bad and there were plenty of even spots to camp. We personally didnt see this as issue, but some people might.

Pick your primitive grass campsite
Liked Quiet location, close to sea, friendly owners, clean facilities (toilets and showers) , possibility to buy eggs, firewood, marshmallows on site. Could charge phones, lot of games and sport activities for kids (i would recomend to owners to build some play area like swings or slides for kids for top noch place for families). Firepits were available for free and were pretty amazing looking (looks like old drums from washing machines with bolted /welded legs) . Kept us warm outside surprisingly well. This was our second time staying there (last time was september 2021). Will return there.
Disliked Dont really have dislikes. Really amazing place.

Camping pod
Liked Really friendly and nice owners, clean showers and toilets, plenty of things in pod (kettle, plates, cups, forks, spoons, coffee, fridge, heater, fan, sofa) and outside (bbq, chairs, table). Remote location, so it was really quiet evenings (unless you count other people on other sites). Pub next to camp site (we personally didn't went there, but family next to our pod said it was good pub).
Disliked Wifi was bad. We couldn't connect to it, so we relied to our mobile broadbands. Owner told us that later they will improve wifi on site, so this might be fixed when you are reading this.

From the manager: The Wifi Booster has now been fitted, and a strong signal is available all over the campsite.... you were a week too early! Glad you enjoyed your stay with us, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
