What customers say
This campsite boasts a friendly vibe, clean facilities, and a great on-site cafe. Visitors love the farm animals (big hit with kids!) and the stunning views. Pitches are mostly level and spacious, though some found the ground uneven. A few mentioned toilet cleanliness and hot water issues, but management seems to have stepped in. Great value, perfect for families.

Liked Lovely little campsite with so much potential and great pitch sizes.
Lovely farm animals.
Disliked Toilets and showers not clean, electric also kept going off, so no lights or hot water.
There is a cafe/bar but wasn’t open the 5 days we were there.

It is a good place on the map
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Spacious, has fire pits and picnic table.
Some farm animals around too.
Disliked It's right behind an industrial estate with a 24h operation so at night you can hear compressors and fans and forklifts.
The pitch is right next to a public footpath and all night there was foot traffic and dog walkers, people speaking.
The shower and toilet block are minimalist.

Powered grass tent campsite
Liked The owner was very personable, the views onto the hills were great and the little farm was sweet - my kids enjoyed feeding grass to the goats.
Disliked Unfortunately there were only 2 showers and 2 toilets for the campsite, there was hardly ever toilet paper available, and only soap in one toilet. You also couldn't lock one of the toilet doors. The washing up area was small, with push-taps which never got very hot.

Wouldn't go again
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Easy access .
Disliked Seems overpriced at £25 per night for camping. Toilets and showers very dirty, not cleaned during stay. Only 2 main toilet/ showers which are combined. Plus overflow has 2 more toilets and showers, so 4 toilets and 4 showers for whole site. Cafe and pizza van closed on a Saturday arrived early eve.

Nice peaceful site with great facilities
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Toilets were clean enough. Site was clean enough. The cafe was excellent - food and coffee both really good and reasonably priced. Peaceful location, but only 5 minute bike ride / 10 minute walk to a shop.
Disliked Only some of the pitches are level and my one wasn’t so I ended up rolling off my sleeping mat.
People driving onto the camping field when the rules say don’t.
