What customers say
Great spot, friendly site with lovely animals & clean showers. Spacious pitches, peaceful vibes and a handy cafe. Some found loos a bit stretched & pricey for what's on offer, but feedback's being acted on.

Wouldn't go again
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Easy access .
Disliked Seems overpriced at £25 per night for camping. Toilets and showers very dirty, not cleaned during stay. Only 2 main toilet/ showers which are combined. Plus overflow has 2 more toilets and showers, so 4 toilets and 4 showers for whole site. Cafe and pizza van closed on a Saturday arrived early eve.

Nice peaceful site with great facilities
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Toilets were clean enough. Site was clean enough. The cafe was excellent - food and coffee both really good and reasonably priced. Peaceful location, but only 5 minute bike ride / 10 minute walk to a shop.
Disliked Only some of the pitches are level and my one wasn’t so I ended up rolling off my sleeping mat.
People driving onto the camping field when the rules say don’t.

Liked Absolutely loved this little gem of a place.
Secure and safe for children.
Everything you need on site. The cafe is a bonus.
The campsite is small but lovely and no cars are allowed on, only to load and offload so it's perfect if you have little ones running around.
Toilets and showers are close so no long trecks in the dark. They were always kept clean with plenty of toilet roll.
Disliked Showers were hit and miss, but we found extra ones next to the cafe which were fab.

Cracking site let down by cleanliness and cold shower
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Pros: Great position, lovely little bar area, nice variety of animals for kids.
Disliked Cons: Shower never got hot . Didn't see anyone refill toilet roll or clean the two toilets, and at 8am toilets were still dirty with no paper, not great.

Loved it!
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked The animals. The freedom. The staff are so friendly. No extra charges to feed animals. Kids can go explore and just be free. Really nice spot.
Disliked Not disliked but would’ve preferred to be able to park the car next to pitch. But it’s not the end of the world.

Great base to explore
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Thank you so much for letting us stay even though you were getting work done. The pitches were a lovely size. There is a lovely view of the hills and it was lovely to see the animals. We used this as a base to go to Cardiff and it would brilliantly for us.
Disliked Nothing except we would have loved to have seen the rest of the site but it wasn't open

Over-priced for the facilities provided.
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked The camping field is fine and reasonably level.
The showers are good, with hot water and a decent flow rate.
Disliked The toilets cubicles are too small.
Having just 2 toilet cubicles for 12 pitches and 2 cabins is insufficient.
At £25 for a pitch, this site is simply over-priced for the facilities.
.
Having one group shouting, laughing and playing music until beyond 2.00am was not acceptable.

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Flat grass field with plenty of space between pitches.
Disliked The two toilets were dirty and required more regular cleaning due to the
large volume of people using them. A group staying in camper vans were very noisy into the early hours of the morning.

Lady very friendly
Let me park early to go to wedding
Disliked Not sure where to book in. Bit confused by cafe. Shower was not clean. Lady mopped it after and apologised without me mentioning. It was not a problem l.
