What customers say
Spacious pitches, great kids' activities, and friendly staff at this large, clean campsite. Good amenities, but some noted outdated facilities, extra activity fees, and spotty Wi-Fi. A few wanted more food choices and better signs. Still a popular base for North Devon.

It was empty so very quiet…
FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked It was empty so very quiet
Disliked The facilities were a bit tired and dated to say the least. Very surprised that there was hardly anyone staying at this time of the year. The very slow internet was extortionately priced.

Would go there again.

Liked Very clean toilet and shower areas. Lovely washing up room with plenty of basins. A quiet pitch area with plenty of drinking water around.

Excellent site
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Really lovely site. Facilities great with bar, restaurant , fish and chip shop and shop selling everything you need. Lovely walks. Toilet and shower block exceptionally clean at all times.
Disliked Showers were a tad small but useable.
Would be nice to have music in toilet blocks as at other sites.
Would need a car to get around as not on a bus route but if you just wanna kick back and do nothing then ideal.

Clean. 2 young ladies on recep were v helpful the other lady was rude.
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Very nice and clean. Very well maintained.
Disliked I thought that horse riding was on site which pony's were. Unfortunately the weight limit wasn't clear and when I arrived I found that there was a nearby equestrian centre nearby. I booked in for the next day and the young lady on your reception tried her best to get me a taxi. With no taxis available I had to cancel my session. I did really only want this site for the horse riding. There was no entertainment. The pub food was awful. I first chose Chilli but had none second I chose jacket with tuna had no tuna. I ended up with burnt sausages and microwave mash. No cheesecake so I gave up. Also very expensive. My partner had ham egg and chips to be given two thinly sliced pieces of packet ham. The fields were virtually empty and later after we arrived another campervan with tent and transit van came and parked right next to us. That made no sense.

A lovely site with plenty of space for each pitch. Great for dogs too
FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked A lovely site with plenty of space for each pitch. Great area for dog walking and staff are really helpful and friendly. It's lovely and quiet and has a friendly pub on site that sells decent food. There's also a shop, chip shop and swimming pool (£4.50). I had stayed here many years ago and am glad to see it's still the same clean and quiet site. Lawns are regularly maintained and it's close to all the great beaches.
Disliked Additional charge for WiFi but I suppose that's to be expected nowadays

Great. Kids had loads of fun on site, great park and facilities.
Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Toilet and shower blocks where great, on each field and always enough avaliable. Fantastic park and swimming pool. Fantastic walks on and off the site. Would recommend the woodland walk was great by the stream. Shop on site was well stocked and the site is in a great driving location to all we wanted to be close to.
Disliked Music and driving on site not monitored enough the week was fine but by the weekend lots of noise past 10pm. And driving not restricted so we had cars driving past our tent at 1am. Concerning when you know some were drinking on site then driving. Reception could do with printing out on site available times for shop, pool ect and tell you tokens needed for washer etc we were given no info on arrival.
