  • A mile from Land's End with many spectacular beaches nearby
  • Outdoor pool, crazy golf and play area
Have you ever had the sand between your toes at Cornwall's spectacular Sennen Cove? If not, sort your next south-west holiday here forthwith, for this is one of the most beaut beaches in Cornwall (and that's surely saying something). Set within a mile's walk of the cove is Seaview Holiday Park, a family-friendly site well placed for exploring yet more beaut beaches as well as top Cornish attractions like St Ives, St Michael's Mount and the Minack Theatre. The site's terraced layout allows for separate areas for families and couples or single travellers, all with stunning views towards the south coast. And it's not just the outlook that's stunning – fix your gaze closer and you'll note an excellent collection of facilities on site, too. For days when that 20-minute stroll to the beach just seems way too much, there's an outdoor pool for swims and sunbathing, and you'll also have games of crazy golf to play. Families have no need to fear the heavens opening either, as nippers can be entertained at the play area. Amenities include toilet blocks, showers, drinking water and electrical points, chemical disposal and a launderette.

What customers say

Great spot for Land's End & Sennen Cove, with friendly staff. Facilities are clean but dated. Pool & play area a hit with families. Some pitches small, but atmosphere is peaceful.

Liked Location. Burlliant Location allowed us to take a short but steep walk into sennen for a beach day. Plenty of shops nearby also.
So close to lands end we managed to walk up In the evening and witness the 'magic in the skies fireworks which was spectacular.

Lots of facilities available in case of poor weather such as child's soft play.
I've only rated the facilities higher because of the access to laundry facilities and my son enjoyed swimming.

Disliked We booked a tent pitch. However, we were put on pitch 8 (in the corner surrounded by boulders). Most of the ground was rocks, and we were unable to peg down. We moved around several times in order to try different areas, but we're unable to. The people pitched next to us were in a HUGE tent, which came across most of our pitch, too, so we're limited for space.
The showers and toilet blocks weren't very clean. Also, for our entire stay, There was no toilet roll available. My partner overheard staff discussing removing hand towels due to people flushing them down the loos which we understood. However, for our whole visit, the toilet rolls were never filled, and we weren't made aware of a reason for this.
Eventually people started sharing out kitchen roll to go to the toilet.
I spoke to reception about this upon leaving and explained that there were an awful lot of passive aggressive posters in the toilets stating to only flush the 3 ps. However as this was not being provided this was impossible. The reception informed me they made the decision to stop supplying toilet paper also as people were chucking it all down the loo and it was costing them too much.

While I can understand the frustration and logic behind removing hand towels, I cannot understand removing the toilet roll as this forced people staying on site to get creative and flush whatever they have to hand instead.

We have been travelling for 10 days at different sites, some with very basic facilities therefore we booked this one as it appeared it would be a night of luxury with hot showers and fab toilets but unfortunately this was not the case for us. We left first thing which was a shame as sennen was put favourite stop of the trip.

Primitive grass campsite (large)

Liked Quiet site
Lady in reception really helpful and friendly. Was very quick to sort out the issues we had.
Swimming pool - however no changing area or toilets within the pool area.

Disliked When we arrived the toilets were extremely dirty, showers were broken.
Toilets smelt like urine, really strong, 2 showers in the shower block were broken one didn’t work at all the other burnt.

Other shower block showers were dirty but usable. Toilets we didn’t use that block as they were too dirty.

No toilet roll for 2 days but once we spoke to reception this was quickly fixed.

Liked Leaving to explore the area and leaving at end of stay

Disliked Toilets and showers looked and smelt like they need to be condemned. No toilet paper for 2 days. Wifi doesn't work past reception. Kids constantly kicking balls at my van and screaming... there should be no football allowed near the pitches. The park area run down. Stayed at cleaner festivals! Don't come here, poorly managed.

Primitive grass campsite (large)

Liked Great scenery and walking distance to local pub that would we highly recommend for food and drinks.

Disliked Toilets and showers were awful. Toilets were not clean, no toilet paper, hand-towel in toilets because there was no toilet paper. Nobody checking toilets or shower area. Toilets not filling fast enough. Bad broken cistern. Showers dirty, badly done or set up. Men/women/kids sharing toilets and showers. Very poorly managed. Very poor condition.

Kids kicking footballs around our pitch. Hedges not maintained around the campsite. Would not recommend this place.

Liked Great scenery. Friendly staff. Good stop off for Lands End and Sennan beach.

Disliked Our pitch was a grass pitch which was fine but really difficult to level up the motorhome because it was that uneven. 2 different shower blocks, 1 is ok the other really isn’t!

Camping pod (three person)

Liked We absolutely loved our stay in the pink pod. It had everything we needed and it was very clean on arrival. We loved the outdoor swimming pool and spent a lot of time there, it was great to spend the day by the pool and it was clean and well kept. It was great having our own WiFi in the pod too!
The staff were all really friendly and we especially enjoyed TJ's it served amazing food and it was a lovely spot to spend an evening. The owner was so friendly and welcoming always asking greeting us with a smile and asking us about our day.
Other reviews mention the lack of toilet roll and hand towels in the toilet blocks, however I spoke to reception about this during my stay, and they said they are looking at ways to prevent people emptying the supply as soon as the cleaners restock. We actually saw someone leave the toilet block with atleast 3 rolls stuffed in their pockets at one point! So it is the guests taking them and not the fact they aren't being replenished throughout the day.
Overall, a great week away by the sea at a lovely site.

Local attractions

Smashing Sennen Cove is one of the most famed beaches in Cornwall, for its spectacular setting as well as its surfing. Shops, pubs and artsy galleries are around the harbour; if you're feeling energetic, climb the Pedn-men-du promontory from here or hike the 11.7 mile section of the South West Coast Path from Sennen Cove to Lamorna. The Land's End Visitor Centre is also within a mile of Seaview (a pic taken at the famed Land's End signpost is obligatory) and if you're up for teeing off in spectacular surrounds, Cape Cornwall Golf Club is within five miles. Of a summer evening, pootle along to a show at the clifftop Minack Theatre, a three-mile drive away, or have a tour of it all at any time of year. A couple of mighty famed must-sees are within driving distance: the tiny tidal island of St Michael's Mount 12 miles away, which you can walk to at low tide or take the boat when the waves are in, and the pretty arty town of St Ives 15 miles from base, home to Tate St Ives. Kids will be in heaven at Paradise Park (20 miles), The Flambards Experience (25 miles), Poldark Mine (25 miles) and the National Seal Sanctuary (30 miles); further afield but well worth the trip is the lush Eden Project, 55 miles away.
