Disliked: The site was a bit tired I need of some updating for the cost per night. Extra cost for electricity was steep, £16 for two nights

From the manager: Good Afternoon, I wanted to let you know that our touring fields are fully updated. This year, we're focusing on renovating the areas around our holiday homes, as we have only owned this park for three years. Last year, we completed renovations on the touring fields. We offer electric pitches at £27 per night, which is the most affordable rate in the area. Additionally, we do not charge per person for up to two people on a standard pitch or four people on a large pitch. Plus, access to showers and toilets is included at no extra cost. Thank you for considering our park, and we hope to welcome you again soon.

Liked: It was an amazing stay. All the amenities were well managed and clean. I reached late for checkin. But still they managed to give clear instructions for hassle free checkin. The location is very near to Lands End, hardly 20 mins walk.

Liked: Clean grounds, showers and toilets, staff very helpful and friendly…ideal location for lands end and Sennan Cove and a short drive to Penzance and St Michael’s Mount. We stopped in a pod and it was clean and had what the holiday park stated, overall we would definitely stay here again couldn’t fault anything including the lovely price

Disliked: Toilets were horrific and unclean even though there were hardly any campers... we paid fir 4 nights and left after 1 night as the toilets were so disgusting with soiled seats, urine over floors for 2 days consecutively and no cleaning resources within the toilets.. truly unbelievable and I am used to camping and use of compost toilets so that should tell you this must have been so awful!

From the manager: Good Afternoon, Our housekeeping team is committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, with the showers and toilets thoroughly cleaned multiple times each day. Many guests have praised the cleanliness of our facilities in their reviews. We do recognize that a few insects may find their way in overnight before our team begins their shifts at 9:00 AM. Please be assured that all showers and toilets are given a thorough cleaning first thing in the morning, or by 11:00 AM at the latest, depending on usage, with two additional cleanings throughout the day until our staff concludes their work at 5:30 PM. If you arrive late and people have been in it can be quite muddy on the floor but all resources are checked and restocked multiple times a day, if you had came into reception we could have sorted someone coming down with you to fix the problems in the morning unfortunately we cannot solve these problems if people don't come into reception. We have people checking them everyday, so do not understand how they could have been horrific.

From the manager: Good Afternoon, Thank you for the lovely review, All the shower cubicles at the bottom have either a chair or a shelf and we are looking to install hooks this winter. Regarding the shop we opened it at the start of the year and is purely for the basics and snacks as we are a small park. The spar shop up the road is for a bigger shop.

Local attractions

Smashing Sennen Cove is one of the most famed beaches in Cornwall, for its spectacular setting as well as its surfing. Shops, pubs and artsy galleries are around the harbour; if you're feeling energetic, climb the Pedn-men-du promontory from here or hike the 11.7 mile section of the South West Coast Path from Sennen Cove to Lamorna. The Land's End Visitor Centre is also within a mile of Seaview (a pic taken at the famed Land's End signpost is obligatory) and if you're up for teeing off in spectacular surrounds, Cape Cornwall Golf Club is within five miles. Of a summer evening, pootle along to a show at the clifftop Minack Theatre, a three-mile drive away, or have a tour of it all at any time of year. A couple of mighty famed must-sees are within driving distance: the tiny tidal island of St Michael's Mount 12 miles away, which you can walk to at low tide or take the boat when the waves are in, and the pretty arty town of St Ives 15 miles from base, home to Tate St Ives. Kids will be in heaven at Paradise Park (20 miles), The Flambards Experience (25 miles), Poldark Mine (25 miles) and the National Seal Sanctuary (30 miles); further afield but well worth the trip is the lush Eden Project, 55 miles away.

Booking terms and conditions

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.

Extras

Motorcycle(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Quiet hours must be respected between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and trunks must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behavior is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Occupancy

No bachelor/bachelorette parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
The park caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.

Pool

Only park guests are authorized to use the pool.
Please note there is no lifeguard on duty.
Swimsuits are required and cut-offs or Bermuda shorts are not permitted.
The outdoor swimming pool is open between 07/01 and 09/02 (subject to weather conditions).

Reception

Reception is open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. between 04/01 and 10/01.
Reception is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. between 10/01 and 04/01.
Reception is unmanned after 5:30 p.m.. Please inform the park while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time so that the team can provide information about your unit/site.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality flashlight with them as parts of the park are unlit.

Sites

A cable measuring at least 10 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.
You must follow management instructions when setting up your tent/rig and related equipment.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
No vehicle movement between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m..
Only one car is to be parked at the site. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.
The car is only included in the rate if you are travelling with a camper, trailer tent or tent. If you wish to bring a car along with your motorhome/RV, please select the extra.
Units longer than 8 metres are not allowed.

Visitors

Visitors’ cars are not permitted on site.
Visitors must leave the premises by 10 p.m..
Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee.
