Welcome to Lake Windermere Camping, a pop-up Lake District campsite, open for the summer. Set on elevated agricultural land off Kendal Road on the edge of Bowness-on-Windermere, the field commands sweeping views across the rolling Cumbrian countryside and out toward Lake Windermere. The site offers a peaceful, uncrowded wild camping atmosphere with generous pitch space to relax and soak in the surrounding scenery. Onsite facilities consist of a basic, wild camping setup with portable toilets, however, there are no showers.
