Ottima posizione con viste sul lago e facile accesso a Bowness. Atmosfera tranquilla e proprietario accogliente. Piazzole curate, ma servizi essenziali (WC chimici, no acqua corrente/lavaggio). Segnalato rumore da cantiere, ma acqua potabile disponibile.

Mi è piaciuto Not much. Closeness to the lake, restaurants etc I guess (but you wouldn't want to go to restaurants if you couldn't shower)
Non mi è piaciuto Expensive for pitching a tent in a field with only portaloos (that smelt) and a tap for amenities, next to a road with vehicle noise AND with a building site behind it (with pile driving before it was even 7.30am). If it seemed close to wild camping or had an amazing view from the tent, I might have forgiven the rest but being next to a road and surrounded by houses with the view from an area that sloped too much for tents, nah!
Oh, and my car got stuck in the mud and fellow campers had to push it out for me, bless them.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely quiet site, great views and easy to walk down to the town and nearby scenic walks. Very basic. Friendly lady servicing toilets offered to let us have one of the permeant tents there for £35 when we told her our tent was leaking badly.
Non mi è piaciuto No sign to show is we were at the right place. Luckily the permanent tents were there so we did have an idea that it was something other than a field.
