- Shropshire Union Canal five minutes’ drive and Chester 20 minutes
- Wildlife pond and walks on site; pubs and shops five minutes’ drive
Campground type
- Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
- The park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Breed-specific legislation (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).
- No bachelor/bachelorette parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
- Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
- The park caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.
- Continental touring caravans (caravans built with the passenger door on the right-hand side) are not permitted.
- Tents are not accepted at this park.
- At least one of the party members must be aged 21 or over.
- A cable measuring at least 10 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.
- Units longer than 8 metres are not allowed.
- Minimum spacing of 6 metres between pitches.
- Guests are advised to bring a good quality flashlight with them as parts of the park are unlit.
- Swimming in the lake is not allowed.
- There is no reception building on-site: on arrival please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.
- Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.
- The charging of electric vehicles is not permitted on site.

Liked This was a lovely quiet site with lots of open spaces and not crammed into your pitches.
Good facilities, and lovely hot showers.
Amazing dog walking field with a pond thrown in for good measure so the dogs could take a dip!
Walks from the site (nice 4mi circular loop taking in the Shropshire Union Canal) as well as being nicely located to drive in the area(especially to the Ice Cream Farm)
Leading upto our stay Nina was very helpful answering our queries about dog walks and things to do in the local vicinity.

Liked Wasnt sure what to expect as no previous reviews - think its only just re-opened. Friendly welcome, spacious pitches on a lovely peaceful site. 3 female showers and 3 male showers which was plenty so we didnt have to wait, facilities very clean every time I went in. Only stayed 1 night this time, could easily have stayed longer. Booked again for August within a few hours of arriving

Showers clean, toilets a little tight to get in and out but for £12 a night much better than thought.

Liked Pitch was great really big with plenty of grass on the side , hosts we're very welcoming and friendly , explained everything to us and also told us about the 2 lakes you can walk the dogs round off lead , toilets , showers and washing up areas all spotless , very organised pitches , we stayed on a hardstanding with hookup.good value for money .Will defo be back .

Liked Site very clean, set in the middle of the country side, farm shop with in walking distance. Plenty to do around the area.
showers clean and temperature of the water was great,
Site owners very helpful and on site if you have any problems.
Disliked Minor points were some mold in the shower tray
