Rabbit primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Booked a non electric pitch. Great price. Parked down the bottom near the dog walking field and not many others there so almost like we had the place to ourselves. Facilities were well kept and we had everything we needed for a one night stay. Would recommend and will be back.

Fox powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Joe and Neil were both welcoming We had a problem with our caravan which Neil stepped in and fixed it if I had got somebody to come and do the same would have cost a lot of money not only did he fix the problem he would not take any payment. They are both a credit to this site which is in a lovely setting and good value for money. Thank you both for being so kind.

Lovely, quiet site. Plenty of peaceful walks.
Fox powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked The site was spacious, accessible and really quiet! Toilet blocks were fine and everything felt really secure. There were lots of surrounding fields with little ponds about which was lovely for our children.
Disliked Upon arrival, the owner asked my husband to avoid using the electricity (which we paid £10 extra for!) for our heater and insisted we used our own gas for heating instead. We have probably stayed at more than 50 sites over the years and never have we been asked to do this. So despite the site being pleasant enough, we wouldn’t stay again for this reason, and we knocked a few stars off as it was just a bit cheeky really.

From the manager: Thank you for you review. I asked would it be possible for you to use gas for your heating, as our electrics are being upgraded. Our pitch prices are £20 with electric and £15 without, so you only paid £5 for the electric.I am sorry to hear you will not be returning, take care
Lovely and peaceful. Fire pit allowed.…
Rabbit primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely and peaceful. Fire pit allowed. 30 mins walk through the fields to 3 pubs in Tattenhall village. Handy farm shop next door with a cafe. If you want a busy site this isn’t it. If you want peace and quiet it is 👍
Disliked Nothing. All good

Would both visit again, plenty of open space for children
Fox powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Liked the location being close to Chester, Whitchurch and wales all within 30 mins drive, site was 4mins drive from village pubs, takeaway foods and spar
Hard standing pitch was nice and level, considering the amount of inclement weather we had recently the grass areas was surprisingly firm, loved the dog walk Field with plenty of local wildlife and a couple of fishing ponds, the onsite farm cafe and farm shops was outstanding
Wardens was very pleasant and accommodating
The facilities was relatively basic but very clean and tidy with three showers and a toilet cubicle
Disliked Another toilet cubicle would be of more use rather than 3 showers, maybe 2&2
It is quite exposed being on the Cheshire plains I would expect it, also the main road was quite close behind pitches 1-5 we was on 4
