Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite (medium, no awning)
Liked Lovely, well-maintained grounds and excellent facilities. The toilets and showers were better than most hotels we’ve stayed in! Having a mains water supply at every pitch made filling up really easy, and the no-reception check-in system worked really well.
The river bus from the campsite into York was also a fantastic bonus, such a lovely and scenic way to get into the city.
Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend this campsite. We’ll definitely be back!

Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite (small)
Liked Excellent site, very clean and modern facilities. Fantastic location. We will definitely be back again at some point.
Disliked Very minor point. Our pitch was in the shade all afternoon and evening which was a shame as the weather was lovely.

Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite (large, no awning)
Liked Great walks for the dog, river view and local pubs nearby
Disliked Pitches were small and tight, felt we had no outdoor space as someone had booked the hut (we were pitch 11). Restaurant closed early and river taxi only operated on the Tuesday we were there so ended up having to drive into York!
