Immerse yourself in the picturesque surroundings, amidst lush greenery and stunning riverside views. With spacious pitches available, you'll have plenty of room to spread out and unwind. There are a range of glamping unites including the Houseboat, Shepherd's Huts and Cabins. Offering a blend of comfort and charm, ensuring a restful retreat after a day of exploration. Drift off to sleep amidst the gentle lull of the river, creating memories that last a lifetime. And with easy access to a variety of outdoor activities, and a various dining options available onsite, there's no shortage of ways to enjoy yourself during your stay at The Riverfront. There is even a children's play area for the little ones. From the park, you can embark on scenic walks along the River Ouse, immersing yourself in the tranquil countryside that surround the site. And for those who wish to explore further, the exceptional city of York awaits, just a short bus (or boat) ride away! Located near the Bosun's the iconic on-site restaurant open for drinks on the terrace, lunch and dinner. Bosun's promises a dining experience that delights all the senses, with locally-sourced seasonal ingredients taking centre stage in every creation. From farm-fresh produce to succulent meats and delectable seafood, each ingredient is carefully selected to deliver a culinary experience that's both contemporary and honest. Bosun's serves a full range of menus, a-la-carte, Sunday lunch, children's menus, Steak Special and Afternoon Tea from Thursday to Sunday. Onside facilities include toilets, showers, a washing up area and laundry facilities (coin operated). There is also WiFi and a play area for kids. motor boats and kayaks can be hired too, with bookable beauty treatments available. Gas BBQs are allowed but no open fires onsite. There is The Bosun's Restaurant (open Thursday to Sunday) and Riverfront Cafe Bar where you can purchase breakfast, coffee, snacks and sandwiches. Bosun's Oven offers fresh wood-fired pizza seasonally.
