Beautiful views of the Abbey
Disliked Located right next to a main road, so traffic noise was noticeable
It’s a bit of a walk into town — though an easy and scenic one along the old railway line

Powered gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked It’s a small, practical, and cozy campsite. There are 6 pitches with electric hook-up and 7 without. On site, there’s a large bin, a waste disposal point, and fresh water for refilling right at the entrance — easy and convenient. Check-in is done through an app: just enter your personal and card details, select the number of nights, and within seconds you’ll receive your pitch number by message. Super easy!

Would recommend for any overnight stay.

Lovely little spot close to whitby. Clean with beautiful views
Primitive gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Really clean and close to whitby. Me and my partner stayed 1 night and would definitely come back next time we are in the area. Beautiful views and plenty of room for windbreaker around the van.
Disliked Nothing

Good location for a stopover along the coast road
Primitive gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Great stopover point on the coast road from Saltburn to Whitby and onwards. We had Pitch 9 on the front row which has a long view of the Abbey if you stand in the gap in the hedge in the corner, (a viewing platform in that corner would be great). Nice level pitches and streamlined SMS check-in service. Friendly but brief interaction with the owner to check we were settled, good SMS communication. Dog friendly site.
Disliked Pitches were very close together, the last pitch in the front row was very limited for space against a hedge with no grass area.
