Birdwatching aside, campsites in Bridlington are a handy base for trips along the East Yorkshire coast, whether pootling along to other coastal towns like Hornsea and Withernsea, walking the Yorkshire Wolds Way or shopping and seeing the shows in Hull. (Or plant yourself firmly in Bridlington and move no further: there’s lots of shellfish to sample in town.)
