What customers say
This small, peaceful campground is praised for its natural beauty, spacious sites, and friendly, helpful owners. Clean restrooms and showers are described as charming and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches like wildflowers. Guests enjoy the honesty shop, play areas, and proximity to a community pub. While showers can be temperamental, it's not a major issue. Highly recommended for a relaxing, nature-focused getaway.

Liked Beautiful site, large pitches very clean facilities and small details that make this site stand out from others. Lovely for families and couples alike, relaxing and peaceful but plenty of places to visit nearby and lots of walking if you choose.
The Racehorse Community pub is just a short walk, good food and can recommend for dinner.

Excellent site for a peaceful, back to basics camping experience.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Large pitches, had plenty of space for tent and car while still being far enough away from neighboring pitches. Beautiful field closed in by trees, liked the wildness of it all, lots of wildlife to see and hear. Hosts were fantastic, said hello to us on arrival and told us about the site and facilities. Toilets and shower are fine for a 'back to basics' campsite, kept very clean and tidy. Shower can lose pressure for a short time if someone flushes a toilet or turns a tap on, but other than that everything was fantastic! Had no complaints. The only small issue i came across was the shower not working on our 2nd morning, but reported this to the hosts and it was fixed immediately (a breaker had tripped). Couldnt ask for more.
