What customers say
This peaceful, adults-only campground offers spacious, level sites, many with hookups. New, clean facilities are mostly well-kept, though some found showers/toilets crowded. The on-site barn with cafe, shop, and market is a hit for food and local goods. A great base for exploring the Broads/Norwich, with good transit. Minor notes: WiFi, small sinks.

Loved it. Will return for sure.

Liked Fabulous site based in beautiful grounds surrounding the barn/restaurant/shopping location and beautiful countryside.
Quiet site, we were there for farmers market which was great.
Large pitches, plenty of privacy.
Sanitary facilities kept immaculately clean.
Disliked Could do with a few more showers and sinks are just too small for washing etc. Also need mirrors in sink areas.
Had to queue to wash up. 2 stations inadequate

Friendly site, excellent location for Norwich & the broads.

Liked We come here several times a year with our family & friends who all love it
Love this site for the location and the amenities at Black Barn,
Love that we can have pitches next to each other, very spacious plots
Disliked Re cycling bins would be a nice addition for the campers and the Elsan point could do with a tidy up
Also more water taps would be wonderful as the middle row has to push through the hedge ( which has grown a lot in the time we have been coming ) and the field row has non at all

Excellent site with a great farm shop and cafe on site

Liked We were greeted upon arrival by the owner and his daughter who explained where we was to park choosing the pitch of our choice and also explained where the facilities were that we would need.
Toilet and shower facilities were very well maintained and cleaned throughout the day.
The site is situated with an excellent farm shop and cafe which are open everyday from 9am-3pm. We had a wonderful piece of cake in the afternoon and drinks and the following morning had their signature breakfast which was superb. All the mat you can purchase in the butchers on site.
The site is situated in Salhouse lovely walks around the fields on the footpath if you have dogs and just a 15 minute walk to the train station where you can get a train to either Norwich or Sheringham.
We would defintely stay again and would highly recommend.

Didn't see any staff relating to the camp site, facilities clean

Liked Cafe, good breakfast, but there was no water when we ordered. That was rectified with a complimentary coffee and tea, once the situation was resolved.Decent sized pitch.
Disliked Unfortunately our second night was ruined bt the three small caravans that pitched up next to us,they obviously came as a group, and the noise they made at night went on till 1:30 in the morning.I did request politely that that quieten down twice, which was ignored. The arrogance of some people never ceases to amaze me.Just rude and loud.

Liked Nothing
Disliked To noisy, the people in tents behind us were very noisy , the occupant of one of the tents was doing his business at the side of his car dicusting, grass to long , weeds and thistle everywhere, water taps need sorting, leaked permantley, not well maintained at all won't return, we like peaceful, relaxing, which it says it was , but it's far from that , not for us

would use again the owner & his daughter were very friendly

Liked Lovely restaurant/ cafe. Large pitch with water tap on some pitches at no extra cost. Great little market on site including butcher & gift shops. Bus stop very close to the site entrance. Staff in the cafe/restaurant very helpful when we asked about bus time tables they went out of there way to help.
Disliked Mixed use shower toilet block I didn't mind but my wife wasn't keen but they were kept clean and were modern. Other reviews disapproved of the small sinks in the toilets but I think they are to wash your hands in nothing more. My wife said the showers were powerful.
