What customers say

Quiet farm campsite with direct Wyre Forest access. Praised for friendly owners, farm animals, fishing pond, & spacious pitches. Nearby pubs are a plus. Basic toilets noted; some wanted showers for longer stays. Minor road noise. Highly recommended for relaxation & natural beauty.

Primitive grass tent campsite (no pets)

Liked A lovely spot to camp for a short stay. Quiet and peaceful. A small fishing pool, walks in the forest and the very pleasant Joe will bring you a wheelbarrow full of logs for a fiver. A well-stocked supermarket a mile up the road is very handy. Personally I loved the ‘no dogs’ rule - nice and quiet.
Farm animals for the children to see too.
We had a fab little stay.

Disliked Nothing really, theres a rustic loo and no shower, but that’s the sort of site this is.

Primitive grass tent campsite (no pets)

Liked Lovely Farm nice spread out pitches.
Plenty of space for the kids to run around safely and a forest a couple of minutes walk away. Friendly owners who are very helpful we have been twice now would highly recommend.

Disliked Toilets could be more private but they are adequate and tidy

Primitive grass tent campsite (no pets)

Liked The setting was beautiful, lots of trees and different nooks and crannies. Some animals were let loose and moved between the tents. Very easy access to the forest and Wyre Forest directly from the property. Super nice host.

Disliked There was a lot of noise at night, there was no night peace, people were playing music from speakers even though there were a lot of children sleeping there. Later at night a horse was running next to our tent and eating apples from a tree, which was also not quiet. And finally, it is next to a busy road, so it is probably not completely quiet there even when people and animals go to sleep.

Powered grass tent campsite (no pets)

Liked Beautiful small campground with friendly animals, fruit trees, nature trails, and two good pubs and a beautiful nature reserve all within walking distance.

Disliked If you are sensitive to road noise or animal noise then choose a spot deep in the farm to camp.

Powered grass tent campsite (no pets)

Liked We loved our stay and already booked the camping on a farm to celebrate our little girl's birthday. Was very interesting to see animals so close, to feed them and get fresh eggs for breakfast. Also a beautiful forest near by for a walk.

Disliked It's a road just next to the farm, and you can hear traffic. It didn't bother us too much, because we have 2 small children running around, just in case somebody expect remote quiet location.

Primitive grass tent campsite (no pets)

Liked One of the most enjoyable camping trips we've had.
The owners were friendly and always up for a chat but left us alone to enjoy their land too. A beautiful field with lots of fruit trees, a whole menagerie of wild life, well kept grass with plenty of places to pitch, access to the amazing adjacent woodlands, clean toilets, a fishing pond... What more could you ask for?

Disliked Don't know what other networks are like but Vodafone had little to no signal. Which wasn't too much of a problem as there was plenty of relaxing to do, fishing and cycling.

Local attractions

Lucky Lucy again, for she (and her guests) can walk to the Wyre Forest visitor centre in 10 minutes to hit the woodland trails on foot or mountain bikes, or get up into the treetops at the Go Ape adventure park. Heading out on horseback is an option too, with a riding centre five minutes away by car. If the farm life has caught the kids’ imagination (or yours – no one says you have to grow out of chuckling at cute animals), head for Little Owl Farm Park, 20 minutes' drive away. Bigger beasts can be found roaming the plains at West Midland Safari Park (10 minutes). Turn your attentions to how folk lived in the olden days with a trip to see the rock houses at Kinver Edge (20 minutes), where there’s also a maize maze to lose the kids in, followed by a heritage ride on the Severn Valley Railway (10 minutes). Swing home via Bewdley (five minutes) to take in the museum and (for those of a certain age) sup a pint at the brewery tap room.
